Amazing camp grounds not to far from hot showers and flushing toilets. Windy some days otherwise water I mostly flat and glassy. Dog friendly and full of fun.

Absolutely fantastic place. Really cheap with good facilities. The lake is the star - it is stunning. Lots of space to choose from and no flies or mosquitoes.

This is our favourite camping spot and go othen each year. Dam is full and we did lots of canoeing. Even with many enjoying the spot, it still feels like you have your own private space. And the open fires and wild life adds to the experience.

Very peaceful and quiet midweek getaway. The new ablutions looks like it'll really make this camp site a 5 star location when they open up. We'll be back for sure

Looks a lovely place to water sports and camping. Dirt road excellent condition but didn't stop me getting a rock through windscreen unfortunately. Rain on road made for a very dirty car at end of day.

the wind gets a bit much so find a spot out of the wind if your camping there and make sure you tie everything down. can get busy on the weekends with families so go during the week if you want a quieter camp. flushing toilets, nice hot showers, security on the 4 wheeler cruises around throughout the day. Im with telstra and I had intermittent phone and internet reception. few people had their dogs so I'm guessing it's dog friendly too. nice little getaway not far from mackay.

Eungella Dam Camping Grounds
We went to visit friends who were camping out here. It is a huge place with plenty of room for tonnes of Campers. Grass was green right down to the water edge, plenty.of shady trees and it is really quite pretty.
