Kartaway Skip Bin Hire

These guys are the worst ever bin hire company. Booked a 12m bin in with them on a Monday and explained what i was putting in it, not a problem the sales person says. Rang on Thursday to confirm for Friday morning as arranged and they tell me i cant put what i said in the bin. Mean while i have an excavator coming on Friday morning with now no bin to put waste in. Told me i could have 2 x 6m bins instead that can handle the weight and said we cant guarantee drop off time. Then proceeded to try and charge me another $155 for there stuff up. No thanks never again..... Rang Green bins and they were able to accommodate with a 12m skip with no weight restrictions and is coming in the morning. If i was you i would pass on this company, they will only let you down. Wish there was a - rating for this review as i would give them - 100.

Organised a 3x3m bin for delivery on Saturday and picked up on the Monday - 2 days total required - all good I was told by the sales person. Got a call today (Wednesday) from this company explaining there has been a complaint made to my body corporate as the bin hasn't been picked up. The man on the phone explained there was no pick up date" selected when I clearly told the sales person last Monday that it needed to be picked up on the Monday

My experience so far with Karataway Miniskips, is that the staff are very easy to communicate with, and more importantly they are reliable, i have fellow business associates who are also very aware of who Kartaway is in QLD.

I booked a small skip with Kartaway and all started well. I had a labourer turning up at my investment property to do some work and orgainsed the skip on the same day he would be there but when i called them to confirm delivery time i was then told it would be after 4pm in the afternoon. My labourer lost a day due to this issue and he was 30Km away from home. Nothing further would have been done until we called to complain and then we were offered 2 additional rental days which was better. Still not the sort of service i was hoping for and i'm unlikely to use again.

Great service and price. We needed soil and stones removed which other skip companies had crazy prices. They came exactly on the date and time as promised and we got full use of the skip. Will use them again for our annual cleanup.

Very positive experience. They were able to deliver a skip on the day I requested it and it was removed promptly a week later. Professional, helpful service from staff over the phone and from the driver delivering the skip. Our driveway is narrow with retaining walls on either side. The driver was careful to ensure he didn't damage anything while driving up and down the driveway.

This was by far the worst experience I have had with a company. After ordering a skip, I was happy to accommodate it being dropped a day earlier. Then when it was due to be picked up, no one came. I called and let them know, but they seemed to have no idea that it was due to be picked up. Asked if the could get it the next day. I agreed but they never came. Same thing happened again. I again agreed, not once complaining but I did explain that I had a tradesman who has now been delayed for the last two days because the skip was in the way. Finally they came to pick it up and called me to tell me aggressively over the phone that the skip was grossly overfull and that there was no way the driver could pick it up and that they would be charging a call out fee. I would not have had any issue if not for the manner over the phone, the previous delays and the fact that no information or rules was provided when the skip was delivered. They waived the call out fee and said I would need to offload some of it. I went home and just used a circular saw to cut the top off everything and drop in in the skip as it was previously about 5-10cm above the lip. The next day I called to say it was ready and they said the next pick up would be in another 2 days. I agreed. They did not come. I called and they said it will be picked up the next day. It was finally taken away more than a week after I requested. Out of the entire ordeal, the issue that annoyed me the most was how I had agreed happily to the multiple delays despite having tradesman cost me each day they couldn't start work, and then when the finally arrive and there is one issue from my side their manner on the phone was so unprofessional. Next time I'll just spend the extra money on one of the more expensive companies. I guess as they had the cheapest price I should have expected the worst service.

Used Kartaway for a yard cleanup and was very happy with advice given around the size needed.On time for pickup and delivery,No nasty extra charges and would use them again.Very professional team

I would never use this business, they couldn't even respond after I wrote to the let them know that one of their drivers bullied my daughter at the ttaffic lights, so they must think this acceptable behaviour, he was aggressively tooting her and moved up very closebehi d her to scare her. I even recorded part of it and sent it to them but no response.

What a refreshing experiance to deal with a team who took the time to understand my situation and requirements. Bin delivered on the day required and picked up by a very friendly driver when we phoned to have the bin removed. Kartaway comes very highly recommended by our experiance.
