Incomplete work, but once they have your money (paid in full before delivery) they no longer care about quality nor completion. They ghost you and wipe their hands of you, leaving you with an incomplete kitchen and faulty cabinetry. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A DISASTER. Off the Block, they offer no customer service.

I had a consultation booked on Sunday at 10am, a time that suited Kinsman and that I needed to move my schedule to suit.At 10:20am, the designer had not turned up, and I was not given any direct contact to reach them. After calling the customer service line twice to get some answers (to which I was invited to leave a voice message and was not called back), the designer called at 10:23am to advise he was running late as a previous appointment had run over. I was in absolute disbelief about how unprofessional this was, and that I was being called at 23 minutes past the appointment time to be told he wouldn't be at my address until 11am and could I reschedule to the afternoon.It was Kinsman who suggested the 10am Sunday appointment time, not me. I ensured I was available on the weekend, I did the research, was prepared and ready, but their designer couldn't be bothered to show up on time, or even advise that he was running late in a timely fashion.Completely unprofessional, and if this is telling of how they run their operations I would strongly advise NOT dealing with Kinsman.

I loved the showroom - they have an excellent selection of finishes and the staff were very helpful. Yvonne was so knowledgeable and not at all pushy, she genuinely wanted to help me find the right kitchen, was honest and full of ideas. They're located in The Good Guys store and have a lot of cross promotions so it's very cost efficient, and handy to design the whole kitchen in a day (or less). I even took their samples around the store to see how the appliances would look installed.

I'm happy with the kitchen itself however the service on the other hand is awful. If things go wrong you're in trouble as their customer service is horrible. I've got two friends who wanted to see how mine turned out before ordering through Kinsman and I'll no longer be recommending them after speaking highly of them in the past due to the following:1. None of the hundreds of screws are labeled to reflect the letters in the instructions which resulted in me damaging my drawer face and cost an additional $155 to replace. None of the replacement screws came with any labels and I had to practice on the damaged drawer to make sure the new one isn't ruined. Labelling the different screws is quite standard except for Kinsman.2. I ordered a $268 bin to sit inside my cabinets which doesn't fit with the sink pipes, their so-called designers don't warn you about this or check measurements. I've given up on trying to get it replaced for the smaller sized bin as they charge for refunds/replacements which is unusual and never get back to you about a solution. You're better off buying an identical $60 bin from eBay where you'll be guaranteed better service if the item isn't suitable.3. The cutlery tray I ordered was never dispatched even though I reminded them of it being in my contract prior to the kitchen being delivered and was assured it'll come. I contacted them again after the kitchen arrived without it and it was supposed to be dispatched again, fast forward almost 3 weeks later and no bin. I've basically given up on ever seeing this...3. I was given the incorrect information about the finance options available for the stone bench top. They kindly offered me $100 to cover the additional costs associated with extending the finance however this doesn't cover it due to stone effects requiring multiple payments that now have to go on separate plans all creating a headache.4. The quality of the cabinets isn't great, bits of the drawer face came off when drilling holes for the handles. My handles just cover the chipped paint.5. I asked if they could match Ikea's 50 months interest free offer on finance and they said the max they offer is 36, a month after I sign the contract they offer 50 months which is infuriating as the extra time makes the repayments a little less stressful.If you want to go through Kinsman, go ahead but pray that nothing goes wrong with your order that will turn what should be an exciting experience into a sour one.

1/5 would not recommend. Should have checked other reviews as our experience has been much the same.Measurements (from their measurer) were not correct so the kickboards are now useless. Island bench back panel is not big enough by 100mm so we get sent for, and charged for ofcourse, a whole EXTRA panel in order to cut 100mm off it to fill the gap...Sent too many right-hand side doors and not enough left so cupboards have no doors.Delayed delivery.Spoke to customer service and advised we could send the un-used, un-opened boxes back, only to be told later sorry no returns... Forget them sending the wrong panels and not measuring (and/or designing) properly in the first place.Now stuck with useless panels and have to pay someone else to finish off.

Wish I read the reviews for this mob before I went ahead.Painful to deal with, customer service is non existent, wont accept responsibility for mistakes and every part of the job is subbied out to other companies. They use a portal system and it works well for them as they don't waste time on the phone to winging customers they can give 1 line answers to questions and take a week to do it. Only leaving a star because I have to.Its now been over a week since I wrote this review and 1 day less since they replied. The only person who's called me was the installer. Another message was left on the portal telling me the installer was going to call me. The National Manager must not be able to use a phone either.

Horrible experience with Kinsman. The finished product looks cheap and nothing is how we wanted it. The doors don’t close properly, the towel rail faces the wrong way and they took shortcuts resulting in random joins in the carpentry. Kinsman take no responsibility at any point in the process except to demand payment. Do not recommend.

I wouldn’t recommend Kinsman.While the quality of the wardrobes is good, the customer service was shocking. It took us 10 months to get two built in wardrobes done.There’s a long story but:- We were pressured to sign a contract,- Initially told they would be ready and installed in six weeks and then told it would be twelve weeks once the contract was signed,- Lack of communication from the installer,- We questioned a technical drawing of the doors and were reassured it was correct to find out it wasn’t when the wardrobes arrived,- No one would communicate with us to fix the error,- Incorrect doors were resent and we were told they were correct (installer ended up getting in touch with Kinsman to confirm they weren’t correct as they didn’t believe us),- Total lack of communication on fixing the doors… phoned every day for three weeks to just sit on hold for over an hour and then be told the person who was responsible was busy every time. Tried using the portal and just got silence.Honestly, this is complete unacceptable customer service and it caused us so much stress. I would chose another supplier if I had my time again.

I would not wish my experience waiting 5 months for a finished kitchen with Kinsman ...not on my worst enemy.... these people have ZERO idea of customer service. Their kitchens are not custom made, they are prebuilt so you're better off using someone that actually custom makes every panel for your kitchen to fit the way it should. These guys are absolute cowboys! This was by far the most painful experience of my whole reno.

I thought I would wait up until our kitchen was finished (still not) hoping things would get better! Not only does no ever call back , the customer service is disgraceful! When things go wrong (on there behalf, you are left with the bill & a big mess! Nothing is fixable, basically they are in no way flexible to help and they don’t care for that matter! Before we paid we where promised everything & everyone was so nice! Literally after everything was paid upfront it all became a different story! We thought we would save some money with kinsman but with all the extra fees etc we could have gone to the beat of the best! Disappointing! I think an overhaul of staff needs to be done to save the company, because no one cares about the customer!!!!!! Also the tradesmen have been amazing! If it wasn’t for them I’d be a mess! If u are getting a kitchen done ask for Ralph! All the boys have been reliable and good at there job!
