Update:I'm so happy! Today, on June 13, 2023, I was able to retrieve my CPAP machine at Menzies-Aviation at Sydney Airport. So, it was worth repeatedly contacting Cathay Pacific and writing a few emails. In terms of accuracy, my CPAP was found on May 28, 2023, in Hong Kong and was noted in the lost and found log there. However, it took until June 11, 2023, for me to be informed about the finding. Nevertheless, I would like to thank everyone who helped. I'm sure I'll be able to sleep better tonight.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I left my breathing apparatus in the hand luggage compartment on a flight on 26 May 2023 from Hong Kong to Sydney.At passport control I noticed that then, but was not allowed back to the plane, but should report to the Lost & Found counter.I did that and there was a message written to the staff, you should contact me.Even after 7!!! Days you have not reported.If you try to call Meziesaviaton Sydney you are automatically told to write an email or leave a message on the answering machine only to be told that the answering machine is full and will not accept any further messages.Folks, that is a medical device and very IMPORTANT to me.I then contacted Cathay Pacific and explained the circumstance to them, but they can't or won't help either.I am always put off and you refer to Menziesaviation Sydney.Now I have to wait again for a callback from Menziesaviation,so finally call me BACK.The device has not been stolen, but was in the A350-1041, in the overhead compartment above seat 46 G.

Terrible Experience. My parents came to Sydney for the first time and lost their baggage. Now for the last 1 week, I am trying to chase them. Neither anyone replying by Email nor picked up the call. I am so frustrated, If someone can help me please suggest what should I do.

After 1 hour waiting on hold some lady picked up. I explained my situation but she kept asking the same question. She wasn't able to help me to track my luggage even that I explained and gave ger all the details. She then decided to transfer me to a senior colleague which hung up on me within few seconds.Very poor service. They don't even understand English and ask the same question all over again.Very frustrating!

If I could give them zero I would, terrible service. No phone numbers are answered, no emails are answered.I was told four days ago my lost luggage would arrive the next day but still nothing. Absolutely no way of contacting Menzies, they are shocking.What do you do? There seems to be no competition for them, they just stick their collective heads in the sand and ignore you knowing there is absolutely nothing you can do.Shockingly bad.

Nobody answers the phone. There is no accountability for the damage done by Menzies baggage handlers. They have destroyed a good quality suitcase by snapping one roller off. There is no responsibility to even reply to several emails sent. Very poor.

Really poor recruiting practices and communication.Dont offer any transparency on onboarding dates or shifts/days you’ll be working and dont tell you much about the role.Then act surprised when candidates cant get checks done in time (which they also expect you to pay for).Also the group interview feels like you’re applying for a cringy call centre job. With one of the recruiters doing a patronising clapping game to get our attention and treating us like primary school kids. Was so degrading!They declined my application with a defamatory response saying I couldnt provide references or a police check - when I can absolutely provide a passed police check - just not in the last minute time frame they expected and said I couldnt provide a second reference- which I did - they just didnt accept.The gasslighting is dissapointing.

Terrible service from this company. Recently my baggage was delayed on arrival at Sydney airport. I reported it to the desk of Menzies aviation . They advised me that I am entitled to compensation and USD 50 amount for the first daywas to be credited to me via link sent to my email id and for additional days I was to clain m it directly on United website.I have not recved the link for USD 50 and I am unable to file a claim with United as the format of the baggaee iregulrity report number is different from that of United. One would have thought this would have been elementary for the baggae handling company.Needless to add repaeted emails and phone calls to Menzies aviation goes unanswered.Only saving garce in this sordid episode is that my baggage was delivered

Worst service ever, nobody responds. They broke the handle of my luggage, destroyed it and offered 20AUD. Keep your $20 and buy some decency. Very bad. 1 star is too much for this company.

Airline lost my luggage. Airline insists my luggage was returned to Sydney and yet no one can locate it.The staff were nice enough but I was left feeling like I was disrupting their life by expecting them to do their job.
