Capital Radiology Quinns Rocks

Booked an appointment last week for Monday early morning. Immediately changed my shift at work to suit this appointment. Upon arrival this morning for the appointment I was told that I had booked it for Wednesday, now i would never have booked an appointment for Wednesday because I can't fit that around work on that day. I was then dismissed and told they couldn't squeeze me in this morning without even an apology. Will not be returning as this is the second time I've had issues with this place. The first time they didn't inform me that if i got an extra ultrasound outside of my normal amount (for pregnancy you only get 2 covered) then my final ultrasound, the super important one where you find out gender and babys status can be seen the best (also happens to be the most expensive) would be charged at full price upon next appointment. So low and behold i booked an appointment for my final scan and they tell me this then, not when i had the other ultrasound. I went somewhere to have more quality service then too. This is the first review I have ever written about any place but i find it is necessary as this is just unacceptable, even if it id bulk billed they are still receiving good money for the service, if they can't even say the right day to people what are we even paying for?

If it was possible I would give this utterly useless organisation a 0. Twice I have taken time off work not for a couple of hours but 3 days due to the nature of the procedure recovery time. Only to be called 1 hour prior to the appointment and told we are unable to to do the procedure.

The male ultrasound tech has no bedside manner. He is careless and aggressive. I went in for an ultrasound on my wrist (because it is sore) and he yanked it into different positions instead of just using his words. I've had similar experiences with him previously and have left there crying after an ultrasound on my abdomen a few years ago. The only reason I give 2 stars is because the staff at the front and friendly, and the office is tidy with water available.

I had a great experience getting an ultrasound here. The receptionists and technicians were all so friendly. My appointment ran on time too which I always appreciate. They even helped me out with a mask when I had forgotten one to be able to see the Gp a few doors down! I’ll be recommending them to all of my friends and family!

Not very happy first impression since change of operators. Staff I talked to to book did not smile once, told me to come at 0845am for a 9am appointment the next day , she told me a text message would be sent to confirm appointment. At no point did she mention the office only opened at 9am! I had to ask about forms to fill in, to save time at appointment.The radiology staff was professional and friendly. Waiting time was reasonable because I was there early but already 10 minutes late since the appointment time coincided with opening time.

The care and professionalism shown by the staff member, doing the procedure was outstanding on both occasions!!
