Found my time with JWA was quality. Excellent teaching to get a foothold into the wonderful world of Jazz with some of the most experienced and friendly jazz musicians in Australia.

Saul Richardson is undoubtedly one of the best jazz educators in Australia. I can say personally, that much of my love for jazz has been a result of his passion and enthusiasm to teach. Many talented up and coming Australian jazz musicians have been involved some way with his programs at Jazz Workshop Australia. If you are looking to begin or extend your passion for jazz, I cannot recommend Saul and the JWA highly enough.

I've been taking classes at JWA for a few years and it has added so much to my life.I'd always been drawn to the jazz sound but never knew where to start to play myself. In early 2020 I decided to take some classes at JWA - and at first I wasn't sure how good I'd be, thinking maybe I needed to start when I was younger. It didn't take too long before I was really enjoying what I was able to do. With the right guidance, mindset and practice, you'd be surprised at what you can achieve!Special thanks to Saul Richardson & everyone at JWA for the great work they do for jazz education. Learning jazz has been immensely rewarding and has opened up doors to many other experiences.

I have been in JWA for about a year and participated in adult jazz combo. The teacher divided students of different levels into different groups, which is more conducive to improving my musical instrument performance. At the same time, I also met some excellent jazz players in JWA , including some under 18s, I am amazed at their level of jazz instrumental performance, some even better than adults, I think the future of these kids is boundless. In short, JWA is the place to help you dive into the sea of jazz, no matter what your current level is.
