Cosmopoli' French

A great little language school and wonderful place to learn French! Nathalie and the teachers are all native speakers, really supportive and the class sizes are nice and small. The classes are always fun and really engaging and you learn how to speak real conversational French! Highly recommend!

Cosmopoli is THE place to learn French in Melbourne. So much better than the 'old desks and chairs' classroom setting mentality. This is the way learning a language should be! Relaxed, comfortable, small groups, activities outside of the classroom that actually IMMERSE you in the language so you get to practice it properly. Since starting with this school years ago, I have now travelled to france numerous times and found that the specific learnings from this school helped me really feel comfortable conversing in French. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about it!

Highly recommend Cosmopli' to anyone wanting to learn French in an immersive and friendly environment. Small class sizes allow for a high level of student-teacher interaction that benefits the whole group. Weekly resources are informative and relevant with up-to-date occurrences happening around France and French regions. More relaxed environment than some classes but still very focussed on ensuring quality results. I found the prices and class times to really cater to my needs regarding flexibility around my work circumstances.

Cosmopoli’French is a fun place to learn the language. The lessons are structured for real world learning, and I always take something new from each class. Nathalie and all the other teachers are patient and thoughtful, making sure each student is taken care of. They welcome questions and all classes are very interactive. I like that there are opportunities for some learning outside of the classroom as well such as the classes at a restaurant or the NGV. I have been learning with Cosmopoli’French for over a year now, and I observe see my French getting better with each term. I’ll definitely be continuing classes here for a while, and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to take classes at their own pace in a fun and supportive environment.

I started learning French with Cosmopoli'French two years ago and it has been an amazing experience for me. I have felt so supported and encouraged in my learning by the staff.  And it has been so much fun, with laughter a part of every lesson.I started as a beginner and have progressed steadily in my language journey.  Cosmopoli'French offers students so many varied opportunities including film appreciation,  restaurant dining and art exhibitions to develop both their proficiency in the French language and understanding of the culture of France.The immersion learning program is carefully constructed with each week taking a different topic. It's never boring and is pitched at a level to engage participants in challenging,  but achievable activities.I highly recommend Cosmopoli'French for anyone wanting to learn and further develop their French language skills.  It's simply the best."

I highly recommend this school for anyone who wants to learn the real French language. I have tried a few schools in Melbourne and Cosmopoli stands out as one of the best. Classes are fun, interactive and cover reading, writing, speaking and listening to develop the skills you need to reach fluency in French. The teachers are supportive and engaging and offer something new and different in the language learning space.

The style of teaching is dynamic and practical, not just by the textbook - teaching native French spoken by locals. Nathalie is a brilliant teacher, who is engaging and supportive! Merci beaucoup!

I have tried so many different French classes in the past and I have to say this one has been the best so far with several reasons below. First of all the lessons are based on immersion and it gets you to start speaking naturally with a theme each week. For example, sometimes we go to a French restaurant and have a chat in French to experience the authentic atmosphere. Sometimes we watch a French film or listen to French music to work on our listening comprehension. Sometimes we go to a French exhibition and have a discussion about the artworks. Apart from that, the teachers at school are excellent. They are very patient and thorough, and the most importantly they give you a lot of constructive feedback to make you grow. Another important aspect that this school is different from others would be the flexibility from the school. I personally have different work schedules each week and sometimes going to the same class at the same time each week is just not feasible for me. Cosmopoli French is able to let me attend different classes as make up and the quality of the lesson stays the same! I have been with this school for more than 3 years and I have to say I started as a beginner and now I'm a fluent French speaker!

I've got to say I love Cosmopoli'French and look forward to the classes each week. Cosmopoli'French is a great way to learn French in a warm, friendly and relaxed setting. Nathalie and the other teachers are fantastic and supportive and very knowledgeable and the other students have been great too. I have studied French in many ways but these classes finally give me the confidence to engage in conversation and discuss current topics of the day. I highly recommend but please don't take my class spot LOL ;-)

Where can I start? First of all - the teachers were everything - funny, friendly, dedicated and immensely helpful! It is an intimate environment where one feels nurtured in their learning journey and immerses in the authentic French culture at the same time. Us students - we also bonded so well in class and had so many laughter along the way. I love the fact that we are learning the current French language that is practical and also used in social settings - not just the textbook version of it. Thank you Nathalie and Sarah for such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!
