Very disappointing. Prebooked weeks in advance. Arrived to be told there was no hotwater. Initially told it was something that just happened & as it was a weekend, nothing could be done. When pressed further staff admitted the problem had started occuring 2 weeks previously. As we had prebooked we said we should have been advised earlier. We were offered 10% discount. Advised them we were already entitled to that because we had stayed at one of their motels in broken hill. Then told it was too hard to do on their billing system. Were offered complimentry meals for the wife & I for tea which we agreed to. Big mistake!Ordered beef cheeks. Got 2 pieces of boot leather that had been grilled instead of slow cooked with a tiny container of gravox. This was returned & we reordered l shankS. What arrived was one tiny shank, cold, in a tablespoon of sauce. Now my wife actually has no sense of smell. When she was eating i could smell rotten meat. When i smelt the joint it was definately off. Mine was not as bad but def not fresh. At no time would the manager or the excuse for a cook participate in a discussion about our concerns. Just looked at me from the kitchen & let the wait staff address our concerns. Another patron couldnt eat his beef cheek either & gave it to his mate to tackle. So all in all a very bad experience with a dirty room the size of a shoebox to top it all off. We are now waiting to see if the wife falls ill. On a positive the receptionists & wait staff did their best to clean up the managements mess. They shouldnt have been asked to lie to guests about the duration of hot water issue. Never again for us.

Copper City looks amazing when you step inside. The renovations they did have really made it a place to take the family. The staff are amazing, and the food is delicious, especially the ribs. It would have to be the best place in town now for a feed and a beer. Nothing is an issue for these guys, and they treat everyone like a valued customer. Great place, great food, great people

This is second time we stayed here. This time they had a bar and Resturaunt. Which were great and exceeded my expectations. We used the pool agin was good. Motel room is clean and adequate. Dated but so is price. Rate was very cheap compared to other places we stayed. Manager and staff were exceptional. Will always use this as my place in Cobar

A mid rating of 3 accurately describes this place, mostly influenced by the lackluster attitude of the (seemingly) backpacker staff. Sure they do the basics (serve beers when they have to get off the chair behind the counter, hand over keys without eye contact, etc) but that doesn't engender a positive vibe with customers.Room was basic but clean. TV did not work. Bed cover was skimpy so we were cold.Location is pretty good. It's good that this place has a bar and restaurant, which are quite nicely fit out.

Arrived to find the motel had no hot water and was given a discount on the room. The bathroom in the first room I was given had a broken light. I was given another room which was dirty, with leaking taps and inadequate bed covering. Definitely wont be back.

Reviews observed.I'm not complaining.In and out.Restaurant going off.And certainly looks good food.As I'm sitting close ish to the service area.Must be more then 50 people in the sitting area.I'm slamming a couple of coopers red.Then pizza and garlic bread in my room in time for mafs.Trusting the cockies appreciate it.

Omg DONT waste your time or money. We booked a room at Copper City Motel only to get into our room and not able to stand the stench of something dead which had then been covered with some God awful spray. Both my husband and I were choking on the smell. I asked that were given another room which they did to only find the room covered in dead leaves, cockroachs in the bathroom and soiled pillow cases. When I told the staff and asked that they look at the room they offered a 3rd room. I declined explaining that for $170 per night I expect the room to be clean and pest free.I asked for a refund but the staff on shift were unable to refund money and explained only the manager could do this and she was not on site. I was asked to ring in a day or two to request a refund.Refund then took 5 days before being paid back and I was then charged an extra $5 for their inconvenience. NOT HAPPY

It was so horrible that we had to end our stay here early. First of all, the motel room we were given stunk extremely bad. It was impossible to breathe! Then we were given one of those house-cabins because the motel was unlivable. The house didn’t seem bad at first, and it was definitely an upgrade expect for the fact that it was dirty. Mold and rust was everywhere and the door of one of the bedrooms was covered in sand and dust. The bathroom had a small sink with an awfully moldy storage space and a shower. Oh, the shower was terrible. There was hair and mold everywhere and the cold water didn’t even work, so we were forced to use buckets! The bathroom didn’t even have a toilet and the toilet was located across the house. The freezer doesn’t freeze, there are stains on the carpet and all our towels had holes in them. Why waste so much money on a bunch of wall pictures and paintings when you can make your customers have a comfortable stay?? This is unarguably the worst Easter I’ve ever had in my entire life. Don’t buy rooms from this hotel.
