I have enjoyed meals at this restaurant on numerous occasions and thought it a good idea to order take away last night . Maybe the choices made could have been better but sadly the portions provided were small and some overcooked. The salad was swimming in some unknown sauce .. We were disappointed and felt we did not value for the money paid and will not be ordering again from this restaurant.

I went there to savour the reputable dish - roti duck, recommended by the owner's son. The roti had a multi - layered texture that was delightfully crispy on the outside and unbelievably fluffy on the inside. The curry like sauce was beautifully made with a creamy feel, not heavy at all. The duck was extremely tender, seeming to melt in my mouth, the flavours and tastes sending great messages to my neuroreceptors.

We had a great evening here, it’s a lovely upmarket Thai restaurant with good ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! The portions were very generous and we all went home satisfied. We will definitely go back!

Good food, small portions, nice atmosphere and service.We were disappointed because we used the gluten-free menu and really felt like satay - but our satay crispy tofu (gluten free) had soy instead of satay sauce.... which is a really boring dish. They explained this was because the satay sauce has gluten in it. Please... just make your menu accurate.

being a local I have been numerous times and find the food servings small relative to price and the service extremely poor. The last couple of visits the wait staff do not poor wine, top up or clear until asked. There are better thai restaurants about. Also be careful with the accuracy of the order. I do not recommend.

Bai Yok is a great relaxed neighbourhood Thai restaurant in the Castlecrag strip. Their food, both dine in and take away, is always good. Staff are very friendly and welcoming to their restaurant. Street parking is available in the evenings.
