Worth the drive. Ok with 2 WD car if not raining bad and know how to drive on dirt road. Great views.

Lovely lookout with a fantastic view across the valley. Gravel road in and parking for just 3 or 4 cars. Travelled in with our motorhome, no problems. Accessible bushland from the road, which is great for photography. Split Rock itself is over the edge of the drop and best viewed from the bench seat, or as I call it, the pew with a view.
