Hoppy's Car Wash Southport

I have taken my car on Sunday to be washed and It was only after I left, and eventually opened the back window on the right side of the car that I could hear a squeaky noise and as I opened it all the way the noise was still there and tried to close it and it would not go all the way up. The windows were all working when I got to the car wash and it is clear that something has happened. Either someone was putting too much pressure on the window or there was water damage in the electric system. I don’t know. However, that wasn’t how I left the car and when I noticed to return and show the guys, the place was already closed as you guys close at 5pm on Sunday.manager said he would be checking the cameras to see what happened and would get back to me yesterday, yet he hasn’t even replied to my emails. I am really frustrated as I will have to replace an entire window since some part has been damaged after whatever they have done in my car.

I went here today and totally happy with the clean, my car looks immaculate. I only had the $55 clean, but wow, I was very pleased. Why can't I find a similar service in Brisbane? (Where I live).

What a find! Cars rolling in all morning and coming out sparkling. I have interior/exterior done. Cost $70. Sat inside having a chai. Watching two men, soaking, cleaning, rinsing and again. Then another pair vacuuming, cleaning and polishing. The staff, were happy and focused but eyes on the car. My car smelt and looked great. Thank you Hoppy, I am happy.

I attended the Southport site Friday the17th March 2023.The team on site did a great job cleaning my car, however I will never return.I will also be advising all to avoid this business.Long detailed review:After paying and waiting I approached the staff and asked if my car was ready, I was advised it was good to go.This is when my visit went very sour.The staff had lost the proximity key to my $100K+ M5!Initially the staff insisted that my key was in my car and then several of them proceeded to search through my car opening compartments, moving my property and suggesting that i had lost the key.I was then asked to wait inside by who i assume was a wash supervisor and advised that a staff member had my key.The staff on site continued to work on other cars and left me feeling ignored.I again approached the staff and asked what was going on and where my key was.I was advised that a staff member was checking the cameras and again asked to wait inside.I again waited, after some time I again approached the supervisor who told me they didnt know where my key was at which point they began checking the vacuum connections.As i began to make arrangements to try and get a replacement key, (10 days lead time and over $1000 plus coding from BMW for a replacement key) and now facing being stranded with an unsecured and unmoveable car, and facing a loss of the monies paid for my weekend away with my wife, I started getting frustrated and again approached the staff.At this stage the staff were nothing but rude telling me to go back inside.When returning I saw the staff member who had taken my car on arrival who i handed my key to and he advised me that he had gone to lunch after taking my car through and didnt know anything about it.I had been lied to about him checking cameras.By luck, a women in a white Mazda SUV drove in and as it turns out she had been in the wash after my car and the attendant had dropped my key in her car.By a stroke of luck she had found the key beside her seat and returned of her own accord to return the key.The staff member took the key and tried to conceal it however i had seen it and i intervened.I thanked the women for her kindness returning the key and left site.I do not consider myself a vindictive person and dont consider this event was done with malice however it was extreme negligence.I attempted to reach out to the business admin email and via their social media page requesting a call to discuss so this matter could be dealt with discreetly and treated as an opportunity for improvement, however Brian the field manager was unwilling to pick up the phone and call me, informing me that he cannot help.Throughout the entire time on site the communication was extremely poor and I can see after trying resolve this issue that this is obviously a culture from their management.

The best place to get a full detail. They take really good care of your vehicle, and their work is absolute quality.

The guy taking the car in was very nice. I was going to do the $55 wash but he said that didn't get my dashboard cleaned so I upped it to $70 which was a lot for me to pay. I was very disappointed as there was still dirt all around inside my car doors. I was told this would be done.

I had a terrible experience at Hoppys Southport. The supervisor was extremely rude and unhelpful. Not only was my car still dirty after the wash, but none of the staff offered any assistance. To make matters worse, they were all very rude to me.I would not recommend this car wash to anyone. The staff clearly do not care about customer service or doing a good job. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

Hi team I went for the $200 dollar clean inside out polish and shampoo on my carBit disappointed with results mirrors notCleaned . Interior not properly done looks prettty basic for money spent

absolutely terrible service! Will not be returning, upon inspection they have thrown out my arm rest cover that I had recently purchased & have ripped up and gotten rid of the cup holder floorings (which was perfectly fine before!!) There is still remains of dirt that they clearly didn’t bother trying to vacuum.I would give 0 stars if I could. Would not recommend going here!

I've been using the car wash for about two years, today I took my car in for a wash ($190) and was asked if I wanted to pay an extra $70 to clean the inner part of my wheels. I said no to this service, still expecting the external part of the wheels to be cleaned properly. Photos attached ($190 car wash). Short-term money grabbing loses long-term customer retention
