Further to my review a year ago, below, I just returned with a leaking steering rack, and it was fixed after having been replaced three times elsewhere. Piers is meticulous about explaining the problem, the parts that were worn and replaced, and even fixing minor problems he comes across in the process. I have complete confidence in him. Alyssa runs the Admin like a general in the field, and together they are a perfect family team.They KNOW BMWs! My old 325i was idling and accelerating erratically and there was a brake problem. Four other garages (who will remain nameless) were mystified although they still charged me. Then a BMW enthusiast told me about RX Automotive. Piers and his father Simon fixed the problem while I waited! Fuel system cleaned and checked, new brake fluid and hoses, plus explanations I could see and understand. They are champions! I will never take my precious car anywhere else for mechanical issues although Coopers Plains is 25 kms from my home.

Excellent BMW mechanics. Very knowledgable with the older BMWs and very honest people. Diagnosed and fixed all my issues. Have tried many mechanics but after using these guys, have only used them.

Quality workmanship every time. Have had all major work on my E30 done here and have never had a drama.

Pierz and the team are the best BMW specialists in QLD, you’ll see both some of the most special classic M cars in Brisbane and the more mundane high mileage daily drivers from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s here and nobody handles them better. Just recently they took care of my very heavily used E46 328i with a laundry list of issues, and it’s running beautifully. If you care about your modern or classic BMW, this is the shop to visit.

hands down one of the BEST BMW mechanics in QLD. Family owned and best customer service you will find. Pierz and the boys are incredibly knowledgable on these older BMW's, you won't find many other shops that are this good with these cars and with their level of customer service. Having owned many E46's and probably visited over 30 euro mechanics in the past 3 years, I can confidently say that RX Automotive should be the ONLY place you take maintain your E series BMW.

Hi RX Automotive,I am extremely displeased with how this has project has been delivered considering Pierz had seen the car in person before taking on the job and knew what my expectations were, which was to register the vehicle as a daily driver/club rego.My ignition barrel has been damaged whilst the vehicle has been in your care since 29th of April, 2018, and you have been at times unresponsive and unable to provide or stick to an agreed timeline.You have also had me source additional brand new parts on my own time instead of using the agreed budget and then provided me two separate final invoices of differing amounts.I have received advice from a third-party mechanic that suggested that this job should have taken no longer than 6 months, however here we are nearly 4 years later, and he has queried why the job was spread over multiple invoices instead of just the one. This made it near impossible to track the amount spent over the course of the job and requests for the total amount invoiced led you to accuse me of owing further money, for me to prove incorrect via bank statements.I am still slightly confused as to the total cost thus far and you have still failed to provide me with this figure, as this is not listed on the final invoice. (provided after qcat lodged)Avoid this mechanic if you value your time and money or building a high compression engine.Total cost $12000 All engine parts including reconditioned engine and head parts suppliedNOTE : HEADBOLT 5 HAS STRIPPED FROM THE BLOCK - RX Automotive did the engine assembly and won't warranty the workmanship. The car was sent to a second mechanic to finish the work Pierz wouldn't and has since been returned to me. I have pulled the head and confirmed that bolt 5 is stripped.The car was with Rx for nearly 4 years and this is the state it was returned in.

I found this company through word of mouth and I can't imagine taking my car anywhere else! They have really looked after both me and my car, and have been 100% transparent with everything that my car needed. They really know how to treat a customer. I would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone!!
