I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW THEY GOT MY NUMBER, I’ve never used their compare tool or their website before today and I only opened the website after being harassed over the phone by their sales associate. I opened the website just to find a complaints form. An unsolicited phone call after the other. The man on the phone wasn’t even speaking in English at one point and then when I said “excuse me”, all he said is “don’t you speak Hindi?”. I do not. How rude of you to train your staff to assume. I do. What other personal information of mine do you have, that you are trained to make such assumptions?

I had a call from Aussie Protect, who put me through to ISelect which to be honest I felt was a little deceiving. I have dealt with ISelect in the past and found that they hound you. I felt they were trying to sway me from my current cover which is good to a cover that did not have good reviews and would put me at a disadvantage. I did say they could still assist find a new policy for my daughter but it was at that point he said he was done and hung up without any resolution.

I spoke with Ori last week about comparing health insurance. ORI was excellent. He explained everything and what the benefits were with the company he recommended. It gave me a whole new level of understanding about health insurance. We received one month free with the company he suggested in addition to lower premiums with higher refunds. Waiting periods for hospital and extras were also waived with the new company. The process was easy and ORI handled the whole transition.

I spoke with Jarrod, who was very helpful, did not rush me, and listened when I spoke. When I gave a reason for not wanting another service changed, he was understanding and not pushy in any way. I really appreciated what he has done for me.

Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at the hands of this mob. Staff giving incorrect and potentially disastrous advice. They were adamant that all waiting periods would be waived, they were not. They were adamant it was equivalent cover yet I found out that pregnancy and birth cover were not part of the new health fund. Be very weary of these people, not knowledgeable and this is after dealing with a consultant who had been doing it for 5 years and later tells me it’s not a big issue. In the end I transitioned back to my previous fund, what a nightmare it caused me. Avoid ! Avoid ! Avoid !

It was overall excellent experience and Jared was very adaptive to my requests and preferences. He was able to guide me through the suitable health insurance plans and made the entire process quite easy.

Hi iSelect,It was fine until I was provided the incorrect advice in regards to Medicare rebate. I advised the service person 'Michael' that based on our income we were not eligible to rebate and to factor this in the quotes process. I was advised this was not necessary and now my fortnightly insurance premium jumped $60 from the provider Bupa. I emailed Michael on the address he provided and I never received a response. Michael advised this would be sorted as we process or rebate annually at tax time. I repeatedly raised this with him to ensure the quote was accurate and i was reassured of this. On review of iSelect documents, offcourse you have ensured a legally air tight set of clauses that place all responsibility and liability on myself for the provision of incorrect advice. This is the first and last time I use this type of service, ill spend the time to do my own research and choose the correct product for myself and family.RegardsBrad
