This is a pub that you should try. Staff are so nice , atmosphere is great and the outside area a delight. Food is great and atmosphere superb. Love it

Quirky little bar doing good cocktails, starting and interior nice. Tried a special for food as they have an open kitchen, was average, went out back to see the barn bar but that was closed.

The Full Moon Saloon
Visited this place twice now for lunch. Both times the business was doing a brisk business however service was both friendly and attentive. The quality of food was excellent with a nice range of beers. Overall this is a fantastic place for a meal and a few drinks. A great asset to Woodend.

The Full Moon Saloon
Upon arrival we were greeted with strange energy from the female head of staff. We ordered in partial groups with the first group being served their food within less than 10 minutes. The second group were waiting while other tables that arrived after us were being served their food. After 30 MINUTES of waiting we decided to simply enquire on the status of our food as it has been 30 minutes since ordered. We were RUDELY brushed away and said oh we are just busy it might take 40 minutes with an aggressive tone. Inspecting the venue we believed it was about at 30-40% capacity with not many people even partaking in food. After simply stating sorry

The Full Moon Saloon
Visited for the first time today for some lunch. Great selection of meals and reasonable prices.Downside...They had quite a few deliveries while we were there which is fine but the delivery guy left the door open the whole time as he came in and out, maybe 10 to 15mins. We were freezing. We asked if the door could stay closed and be opened when he needed to come in and out but they said no so instead we froze. Would've been about 7 degrees in woodend and with the door open in an already cold place it was very uncomfortable experience.

Coming from Melbourne it’s a great spot to catch up with friends that live locally. Nice atmosphere, good vibes, friendly staff, good drinks list. I was there on a day a charity event was being held & they were having a spit roast special which was delicious! If you’re a local, or passing through Woodend it’s definitely worth a visit!!

A Beautiful little restaurant, bar in Macedon ranges.Have been here on a few occasions now, have always been welcomed by friendly staff, Good range to pick on the menu an bar,food always hot and served in a timely manner .A very warm and inviting.We will be back

The Full Moon Saloon in Woodend is a happy fun place to be on a Friday night with a howdy cowboy ambience with music down the ages by a super talented musician...friendly staff and awesome food...from lamb shanks to carbonara pasta and lamb burgers.. good house wine and drinks to go and make it a chilled out weekend evening...
