Barefoot Freedom

Barefoot freedom and the services offered have been incredibly helpful in rectifying my foot and heel pain. As an active runner finding orthotics that aren’t painful is incredibly hard, however the orthotics tailor made and supplied by the staff at Barefoot freedom offer a support and comfort that can’t be matched. Besides the vast number of products offered, the kind and supportive staff make a sometimes-troublesome experience of finding orthotics and supportive shoes enjoyable. It is this both experienced and friendly environment that make Barefoot freedom unique compared to other vendors. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Great service and fantastic quality shoes! I have suffered from feet and back issues for years, my son suffers from flat foot also. having the right supportive shoes is critical and with the help of the friendly experts from Barefoot Freedom team, We have less pain and more comfort. We have Been going to them over the past 4 years And will continue to do so for many years to come!

I bought a pair of shoes with $360 and left foot shoe is slightly different than the right one and taken back to the store.The worse customer service I ever had and on top of asking $50 to put small stitch to fix the problem. Biggest mistake to made purchase from this store and the same item could buy with half price online. I never ever return to this store again.

My Mom is 92 years old and diabetic. Her podiatrist told her to buy a shoe/sneaker that is wide fitting and diabetic approved or at least a half size bigger 9 to 9 1/2. She also has a wide foot. She depends on a walker and her housebound. She would often have a difficult time tying her shoelaces. In all aspects of the fitting experience at the store in purchase of the shoes Barefoot Freedom knocked it out of the park. I purchased two pairs for her when we visited the store and so far she has tried both on but wears the blue pair because she loves the color. Velcro rather than shoe laces puts a smile on her face. The fit is perfect and her toes are safe from any discomfort and no robin avoiding any medical problems. This is a great store to rely on. I intend to make a purchase for my father soon.

Excellent service by a courteous, kind orthotics specialist- he correctly identified my elderly father's multiple mobility issues, suggested a suitable adjustment to the shoe and the customised shoe was ready the next day. You may have to wait just a little while for your appointment but that is because he is going above and beyond with the client in front of you. Helpful, delightful assistant made the telephone booking, provided cold drinking water on a hot day.. such a relief to find suitable shoes and such excellent, knowledgeable service. We will be back.

Went to the Gosford store and the women was extremely rude, basically wouldn’t serve us until forced to but we reluctantly placed an order as my elderly mother has significant foot pain and needed specialty shoes. Was told three weeks wait, rang back after three weeks as had not received any call back , no answer. Management need to look at their sales team. When you spend significant money on shoes and you have a medical problem you should expect prompt and courteous service .Footnote - we subsequently got into contact with Head office and they were very helpful and the shoes were very promptly dispatched .

I bought two pairs of shoes 2 weeks ago and was told that I will be informed to have the shoes in a week's time. Until now it's 2 week's I still haven't got my shoes. I was told it will be in today and they will call and inform me, still nothing happened. I am 96 years of age, and do I have much time to wait.....?From the reply below, we can see how unapologetic they are and their mind set how to serve the customers. Some situations are uncontrollable, however as a service provider, you at least need to update the customer when there is a delay. Even though at the time you promised you will request the shoes to transfer to your store and call us when they are delivered, I don't think you even made the request. We had to chase up from your Enfield store to request them to transfer the shoes to your store urgently. You never bother to make a call when the shoes were already there. It's ourselves that made the effort to follow up. There are some other things which I think I should report to the consumer association as well and we could clarify things better.

My mum has been suffering from many bad foot conditions and she was unable to be fitted in any regular shoes. I took her to barefoot freedom from a referral and we are so glad we found them! Shoes were fit perfectly and so comfortable. We ended up buying 4 pairs to wear them all year round! Customer service was lovely we will be back for more shoes!

Truly a great experience. I have terrible feet and this place was a revelation with me buying two pairs of shoes. You have to get over the fact that they are medical grade. Staff are wonderfull too .

The shoes are not worth the price you pay for. I paid nearly $400 for a pair of shoes, and it worn out within 8 months. Be careful as their warranty is only 6 months. I for one, not going there again. Very disappointed with the staff behavior and their service at St Leonards clinic.
