Fishes at the Point
Food was fresh and hot, the chips were beautifully seasoned. The waitress at the front was extremely helpful and friendly! They have two shops, and the overall atmosphere of them is great, very nice decor.

Food was okay for eating out on island :))The fish is better than calamari, for my taste bit salty but my friends find it alright.We waited less than 15 min and it was very crowded around lunch time so it was okay.

Fishes at the Point
Had the calamari, a Fish Burger and chips. They were delicious! The ratings on Google are under rated! Chips were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Fish Burger was really tasty and Lettuce, beetroot and tomato was fresh and crispy. All much better than expected given the current Google rating. Food also came much quicker than expected given how busy it was.

Very disappointed that this business was not open. Thought we’d make a day of it (Sunday). Caught the water taxi from Cleveland, then the bus to point lookout. Very scenic and pleasant walk around the gorge walk. Was looking forward to having fish and chips. But we found your business closed. Despite doing a google search, that said your business was open. Please do better.

Ordered a burger and paid to add a pineapple and some cheese to which they did not supply. I also paid for a small tray of hot chips which was not supplied separately but instead a handful thrown in my burger box. When asked for my tray of chips they rolled their eyes and said when ordered with a burger they are thrown in thr same box. The chips were for my daughter and were soggy from beetroot juice. I was made to I was an inconvenience asking for the small tray of hot chips which I had paid for!! Didn't realise the burger had add ons missing until we arrived home. Originally was going to dine in but due to the terrible service and bad attitudes from the staff members we decided to go home to eat. Would not recommend. The view opposite out to sea is the only thing going for them. Awful experience.

Can confirm potato scallops, pulled pork roll and chips are great!! I would ignore the 3.4 rating. V happy

Fishes at the Point
Super friendly staff, easy to get a table and enjoy relaxing with friends and family while having lunch. Close proximity to the Gorge walk and the bus stop if you’re day tripping or the kids want to have a change from being around at Amity Point. The family chips could be larger but by ordering a side of calamari everyone was happy. We look forward to returning soon !

Disappointing experience, despite it having grilled as available on the menu and seeing others with grilled. We were told it was too busy to have grilled and could only have battered.They also had run out of tomato sauce.The fish is $16 for a takeaway piece, throw an extra 15% ($18.40) then a small side of chips for $9.20 makes for a very expensive take away.

The fryer was broken 2 days in a row so they weren't able to cook crumbed fish. I had a beef burger and it was fine. A little pricey.

The staff are friendly and the coffee is great.The environment is great.The fry seemed to be the oil temperature was too low as the food was soft and not crispy. I didn't like the taste of the fish (personal preference), but the burger was ok, very Australian style.
