I wonder whether or not this franchise has changed hands? Previously the staff were very helpful but now the new people aren't. When trying to buy an insert for the long pole for our pool scoop, was told it's somewhere down there near the end of the aisle. On another occasion, I turned up prior to the advertised closing time to make a purchase only to find the doors locked and I was waved away by the staff as they had finished balancing the till for the day. If you say you close a 5 pm then why weren't you open prior to this? Very disappointing.

I bought 2.4m of 3.5mm rubber mat for $285 which they cut 50mm too short and would not change it for the correct length that I paid for. I am very upset as it is too short for my job, not good. I bought the correct size of 2.4m somewhere else. You cant even get what you pay for nowadays.

I was chasing some specific chair leg rubber cups which I couldn't find anywhere, however I was so impressed with Belinda who went above and beyond in assisting me with that, she even called me back later on just to ask how did I go and if I have found a solution!!Only your family or close friends would do that.You must be so valuable to your store, thank you Belinda!RegardsKathy

Really disappointing result!! I went into Clarke Rubber to arrange for someone to come out and fix the pool. A man from Clarke rubber came out and said he would send a quote via email address I provided with them. He never emailed and never called back after I rang Clarke rubber and left my email address again to make sure the right one was given. Left number to contact and he still didn't make contact. Very unprofessional. I'd like to add both people who I spoke with were more than helpful. It's a disappointment the person who needed to carry out the job requirement wasn't professional at returning calls or follow up emails.

Whilst many other reviews seem very negative about customer service, I found Cameron's assistance excellent. He took an interest in my project and detailed several different alternatives that would have worked for it. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and explained the reasoning for his suggestions. The foam I ended up selecting was fit for purpose and a decent price.
