Platypus Shoes

this store is really cool and they have a wide selection of shoes which is great. the vibe is very welcoming and modern and upbeat. all the staff i’ve dealt with in the past have been really great, however i overheard the manager talking about one of their employees in a really disgraceful way. badmouthing employees behind their back is a horrible way to be a manager. when she assisted me she was nice enough but was very short and blunt with me when i was just there to buy a pair of shoes, i believe i remember her name being something like Kat or Katherine even (i could be wrong but it’s what i overheard). i think she needs to look herself in the mirror and decide whether she is a good fit for a management position and platypus needs to alter this fast otherwise they are going to lose employees and customers.

The staff member who assisted me was lovely and very helpful, making me feel comfortable and gave honest advice. The customer service was exceptional and hence, I would definitely recommend to others.

Bad customer service/ Rude staff working in this store. They're having a sale but the prices don't match, If you look at the same shoes online you'll save up to $50 so I'd suggest saving your money and purchasing online from a competitor

Didn't buy anything

Today around 2pm, I went to this store to exchange for a pair of shoes I bought online because it was too big for me. The shoes I ordered online, this morning I just received (order number: # PlatAU001814951) brand new with tag. I paid an extra $20 in exchange for another pair. When I tried on the staff gave me new shoes. I had no doubt until I got home that my shoes were definitely an old pair of shoes. It's scratched and dirty from the base, hips and laces... I really can't believe she could do this to me. You can't let me return the shoes. But why do that??? I was so angry that I forgot to take a picture as proof. I immediately went back to this store and asked her why she did it. The company please check the camera today around 2:30 - 3 pm. She reluctantly said she didn't know? But I remember that after I tried on the shoes she changed the box and opened it to check but didn't show me. Because I believe too much in this brand, I lost my work this afternoon. Be careful with the staff here!!!
