Very expensive for very poor quality food and drinks. Staff were too busy chatting amongst each other. The only good thing was the entertainment on 3/12/22. We won't be back.

The wife and I stopped by to have a couple of drinks while cruising Esplanade in Cairns. Staff was friendly. Nice wine selection.

Lovely staff who all went above and beyond with smiles and good banter even with the staffing shortages. Can't wait to be back to try more amazing combos. The sliders were divine!

We were lured in because of the live band and night lights, the singer had a great voice. We only ordered drinks and a couple of small tapas. The waitress kept asking what we ordered and appeared un-enthused and over being there. Out table was dirty and service was poor. After waiting 40 minutes for the food, I went in to check how far away it was only to find out, they'd lost our docket and the food wasn't even ordered yet. We stayed to finish our drinks, 20 minutes later still no sign of food and no communication. We got a refund and left to eat elsewhere but it was absolutely a terrible start to our first time in Australia. The servers had a lot of downtime and the place wasn't busy, so no excuse for this in my opinion. We ended up being served our food at a DIFFERENT restaurant within 20 minutes of ordering and they were absolutely packed. Would not recommend The Vine and will never be back. The one star is for the singer last night.

Came here for a post-flight beverage and snack. Was served by Marianna and found her service to be impeccable! The fries and side of calamari is divine. Will be back tomorrow evening to try the charcuterie board. Fellow Sydney-siders, be sure to visit this venue!

Waited over an hour to discover they had not put my order into the chef! The waitress who took the order had no idea what was on the menu and the waitress who ended up giving me a refund acted like she was sorry but in reality couldn't get me out of there quick enough. The restaurant wasn't busy when I ordered, the service was terrible. Which is a real shame because the locational setting is fantastic. My recommendation...Go for a drink and then go eat somewhere else. The staff need to seriously up their game.

The girl serving at the bar tonight was rude and short with us. She acted like we should already know the answers to the questions we were asking. The food was very average and small portions for the price..there was definitely something wrong with the prawns. Nice view of the water..

Very average bar although they have a Happy Hour special. It has a view over the street to the esplanade and water. There is lots of outdoor seating on high stools. The selection of beers and wine is not extensive and the grazing board we got was very disappointing. There was not a lot of food on it and what was on it was not that tasty. Good for an arvo drink but would not recommend the food.
