InTouch Massage

I put off writing a review for a couple of weeks, you know what its like ... have a massage and you feel wonderful and not soon after unfortunately pain comes back. Well, not this time !! I have suffered from back and neck pain for so long (as well as general all over pain). Alan was amazing for me. He treated my back and neck pain and actually loosened muscles so that I can stand up straight and start on my journey to improve my posture and all over health. Seeing him was a revelation and I cant wait to continue and live my best life - THANKYOU !!

Alan is a true master of his craft.I had the luck of getting an appointment with this knowledgeable and affable guy whilst visiting Sydney.I simply could not put off the pain I was experiencing in my right leg which has been an ongoing issue for the last year or so.Within 10-15 minutes of asking questions, he identified my issues with maps of the human body's nervous and muscle system.He was able to point out the pain I was describing. Not only was he accurate, but he picked up several other posture and muscle related issues and was able to treat me. I have never done dry needling before and whilst initially uncomfortable, I feel a great deal better and truly relieved.Alan gave me sound advice and urged me to practice stretching daily to assist. I was sore for a few days afterwards, but it was well worth it. He also wrote me an incredibly detailed report to give to my therapist.Thank you for all your help! I'll be visiting again.

Alan is good at what he does as he enjoys doing it and genuinely cares for people.I went to Alan to sort out my tinnitus/anxiety/ mild depression problems plus a few other issues. Alan is very expert in his area and knew how to help me with my sciatic pain. Although his intentions are the best, his people approach is poor. He interrupted my speech, gave me orders in an authoritarian way and started some sort of friendly-challenging conversations throughout the session which made me uncomfortable.

The issue was previously aggravated through chiropractic work.Alan approached the problem with an empathetic point of view, no judgement, or any biases.Alan was very insightful, and talked me through the problem whilst examining my posture, and he observed the way I carried myself, he was very thorough.After the session, the effects were immediate, there was less tension, and a significant reduction in pain.If you are having any difficulties and feeling doubtful, that you may not feel good again, I strongly recommend checking in with Alan. He is probably that missing link to your healing.

Alan is a gifted therapist with specialities in craniosacral, myofascial, reiki and other therapies. The first time I walked in to his studio he knew straight away I was out of alignment and put me back in to alignment in that first session. Alan takes a holistic approach to his treatment, it’s not just about the massage. He’s helped me with breathing, relaxation and mindfulness techniques. I’m impressed with his attention to COVID-19 safety protocols at his practice too. Alan was recently admitted as a Fellow of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society as a reflection of his skill level and craft. I highly recommend Alan, particularly if you have tried physio, other massage and it’s just not helping. I've been experiencing a lot of tension headaches for over a year now and it's always at least a dull headache and affected my performance in the gym and basketball as well as day to day life. I had seen so many physios and chiros over the years to try and figure out the problem but nothing really worked.Alan was able to spot areas of my body that wasn't in correct alignment and was able to start the process of fixing my body. Noticed changes in my body already, and will be going back to him to get the rest of it sorted out haha. I would highly recommend him.

Alan Patriarca is a consummate professional. His dry needling relieved my tight muscles on site by the end of my session. I was impressed by his holistic knowledge of body healing. I would be happy to refer Alan to any person who needs remedial help.

Working from home without a perfect ergonomic setup for two years was greatly aided by Alan’s regular care. Taking a monthly preventative health approach, he has been able to stop problems as they start to develop. I always walk out of his treatment room feeling better aligned than when I walked in, and the better posture benefits continue well into the week. Book in advance if you can, his calendar fills quickly for a reason.
