Modern Cut

I have been coming to this salon for a couple of years now for a colour and trim. I can often walk in without an appointment. Price is reasonable and I can trust my haircut will be as I like it.

Kelly is an amazing person and hairdresser. I have been coming to Kelly for 2 years and am very happy, not only with her knowledge, experience and advice but she always has her clients' best interests at heart. If you are looking for a genuinely honest and experienced person to look after your cut & colouring needs look no further. She's also great with kids; my children were frequently scared or intimidated by hairdressers but now actually look forward to their haircuts aand request that I take them to Modern Cut. I have also found the hair products that they use very good and well priced.

My family love the team at Modern cuts. My boys (big and little) love getting their hair done here. When it comes to my hair, I won’t let anyone colour my hair other than Kelly. From day 1 when I walked into the salon she had under promised and over delivered. She is an amazing colourist and has been the only hairdresser than can consistently keep my hair looking and feeling healthy and blonde. She’s also a lot of fun to chat to whenever I come for my appointment.

I refuse to go to any hairdressers but modern cuts. The staff are such lovely people always ready and willing to help. Kelly (my hairdresser) is the only one who can touch my hair and she does an amazing job. These guys are all amazing and would definitely recommend going here!

(me, male) The lady who cut my hair today was absolutely unprofessional and kept my making me doubt her haircutting skill. Asked for a simple short fade hair cut and had to ask her 3 times to fix 3 different areas. Lack of symmetry (multiple patches), barely cut the fringe and left areas where there was hair in shorter areas still uncut. Usually I'm okay with these kinds of mistakes and it's no big deal but she could not see any of these problems at all and had no reaction to any of her mistakes. Clearly new or just completely disregards her job. Maybe she is better with women's cuts but for men, you're better off cutting your own hair with a 15 dollar shaver than this service.

Visited the shop for the first time and 3 things stood out for me.Lack of skill, arrogance and expensive on top of those.Went for my son's haircut 30$ for. 10 yr Olds cut, the lady cutting his hair made a mess of the cut, when I asked her to fix a few things she asked the intimidating guy at the shop to fix it. He was arrogant and rude. Didn't talk nicely and tried to just spped his way out of the fix and didn't fix it good either. Never going back, avoid the shop of you can.

Had a great haircut me & my husband, very professional both the hairdresser and the barber. Will be back again
