Great value boat ride with bill as the boat handler and guide for this section of the river. Saw several crocs including some big males, and some smaller females. Lots of bird life and river and jungle views. Very informative and easy going ride and the boat pulled over to look at anything interesting. The cost for this cruise is about $25 which includes two boat tours.

Can take a second time tour for free and the boat is bigger than other ,can see the view more clearly , good!

We bought our river cruise tickets here and then drove down the hill to the boat jetty. We had the whole boat to ourselves and the tour guide was friendly and enthusiastic. You could tell he enjoyed his job. Recommended.

For $26 you will receive two trips out onto the river, which each last about forty-five minutes. The tours are extremely informative and entertaining, thanks to the knowledgeable locals that skipper the boats. We saw about eight crocodiles from two to four and a half metres. As it was low tide, the crocs were more exposed.

Brilliant! 1hr boat ride on the river hunting for crocodiles and others - we saw plenty and even a tree snake. Lots of good information about the river and other queensland things like wild pigs and floods, loved it! Definitely recommend worth a visit and tour, can’t go wrong really

Crocodile Express River Cruses Daintree – an absolute double must!A ticket for the river cruise is only $28 and was valid for two different cruises and to go on as many times as you like for the next 6 months – well that sounded alright to us and so two tickets discounted to $25. for seniors meant we caught the 11 o’clock up the river. Yes, we saw crocs and a tree snake, beautiful with a yellow head and some swifts but that was about it. But that was just on the first cruise! We hadn’t intended on doing the second cruise today or maybe not even at all, but we travelled to check out the Daintree river ferry and saw it was $27 for a return trip and knowing we were coming up and needed to cross it to get to Cape Tribulation tomorrow, decided that as we were now right beside the entrance for the second river cruise – some distance away from the first and taking in a different part of the river, that we should do it.We had a complimentary cup of tea while we waited for the next trip to board and had a chat with the skipper and girl taking the bookings. We saw so much wildlife on this cruise, and there were only 4 of us on this boat! We saw several crocs, including a baby, some eagles, the Ulysses butterfly (not many people ever get a photo as they fly so fast) .We saw a tree snake, a python, a water python (back at the landing stage) and various gorgeous water birds. It was such a brilliant trip – we had a great time. For the fantastic price that it is , this is a 5* trip worth taking.
