After ringing around and having no luck with accommodation we finally found a very clean and welcoming warming atmosphere. Rob was very helpful in giving us a room for a night, rooms are very clean, beds comfy and a very clean place. I highly recommend this motel for your next stay.

Comfort Inn Sovereign Gundagai
Stopped here on the way from Melbourne to Sydney with my wife and 2 young kids. The owners were very accommodating in helping us with some washing and introduced the girls to Jack, the resident dog. Great location, short walk to pubs and cafes and there is an amazing new park across the road for the kids (of all ages). Will definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

We have stayed here before and bitterly disappointed this time. So disappointed that we are leaving without even staying the night. Before the rooms were good but when we walked in this time all there was was two beds a TV a kettle and a laundry basket with no fridge, no table or chairs. WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

Overnight stopover, selected at random from online description. Reality fell a bit short. No breakfast available despite advertised. Moved to a smaller (cheaper) room on check-in, but no refund provided from pre-paid tariff. Staff very curt, to the point of rudeness. Could not recommend this place! Don't know how they stay in business.

Great place and great value. We had to find a place stay since we had just come from a flight from Vancouver and had to drive from Sydney to Melbourne.Came across this inn and it was great, the rooms were spacious extremely clean and very comfortable, the beds were very comfy, the bathrooms were modern, and the staff was nice.

The personal service from Rob and Ava made our stay exceptional. This was our first road trip from Syd to Melb with our 3 month old baby. Both Rob and Ava were accommodating and flexible to our needs and even forgave us for a small accident we made in the room due to our baby.

Clean rooms fitted with your run of the mill motel furnishings and comfy bed. Reception were more than friendly on arrival even though he was run off his feet with check ins.Be wary of the rooms located in the raised building at the rear. The walls a very thin, expect to hear your neighbour snoring at the minimum and if you're a light sleeper you'll enjoy the trucks driving down the freeway. Suggest asking for of the rooms in the brick building if you struggle with noise at night.One last positive note, (an above average)3 packets of Arnott's biscuits were complimentary with the room! Perfect for a late night cuppa.

The man at the front desk was absolutely rude with no manners to deal with customers. I was being very nice to him but he was absolutely rude. He was also talking to another customer on the phone and was being very rude. I paid them for Portacot to be installed and ready for baby to sleep but they didn’t even had one in the room. Later in the evening when we got back from dinner. Portacot was left at the front door with no notes and it was absolutely dirty. We decided not to use it. Bed was nice, Internet worked fine, Rooms were clean but the cups were very dirty and dust around the cupboard.I will never ever recommend anyone to stay in this hotel from my personal experience.

My family stayed here on our way back home from a long trip and looked forward to a nice rest. Unfortunately the water pipes from the neighbouring unit were very loud (screeching almost) whenever the unit next door used their water services, which was when we went to sleep and then woke us all up at 6am. I approached management after we first noticed the noise and raised the noise to see if anything could be done. The response was flat out rude from the manager, with his response being you are free to leave" rather than sorry
