We had a fabulous time wandering around and taking in the fantastic art. We happened to visit at a time when they were doing a public paint by numbers of a mural, which was fabulous fun and really added to our visit! Definitely don't just pass by Sheffield and come visit this amazing site!

Sheffield is a beautiful little country town with the most amazing views surrounding it. Not only is this town full of the most amazing art work on buildings but it also has so much history. Never fear If your hungry there are plenty of lovely place's to eat in this town I just wish I could of gone to all of them as they all pretty good. Its about an hour and a half out of Launceston but definitely worth the trip.

Very artistic town. Most buildings, shops, covered by murals each one different from the other. Beautiful drawings but it is a quiet little town with little activity. We only passed through before going to Cradle Mountain.

Excellent exhibit of large paintings with some of them with award winning. One of the author was actually a Hong Kong singer Eason Chan when he visited Tasmania in 2007.

Sheffield is known for its Outdoor Gallery, thanks to artists from all over Tasmania. It's a great little town for a stroll with family and went with our mums who loved it.

Lovely place to sit and catch a quick snack. A beautiful picnic spot. Sit in the middle of artistic murals and artists. Close to basic ammenities. Bring your own food or enjoy the coffee and chips from the cafe close by.

At the edge of Sheffield is a park with a huge array of fantastic murals. They are of great quality and you can spend a lot of time just soaking in the art. It us a great point of difference and just the start of many murals in the area. A wonderful town. Well worth a visit.
