Shannons Insurance

Don't trust this company. They don't insure you for the full agreed value of you vehicle year on year, yet the premiums increase year on year without fail. Where's the loyalty to the customer.

Premium goes from $55 pm to $85 pm after year with no claim? A $30 increase? I ring them to complain reduced to $75 it bigger than the payment on the car insured. I'm out Charltons Insurance 35% increase indeed.

So far prices keep getting higher.Good luck calling them over 25 mins on hold and then they just hang up hoping you do all the work yourself on line.I have called twice this morning and just keep getting hung up on .

It’s been 3 weeks since my accident and not only has my car not been assessed it’s gone missing. The tow company dropped it off to the repairer but the repairer doesn’t have it. I only know this because I called to chase it up, and sat on hold for 40 mins before anyone answered. Who knows how long it would’ve taken Shannons to realise that my car has just vanished.My car was found at a completely different address than where it was supposed to be, and it sat there for 7 days. It would still be there if I wasn’t calling a chasing it up.

In the politest way possible I struggle to understand I call up on 3 separate occasions to simply cancel my policy as they increased the cost by $25+ a month out the blue with no explanation along with lowering the cost of the agreed value of the car and still couldn’t complete the simple task the first time to cancel it along with the constant emails saying I haven’t made a payment? Yet the policy should have been cancelled long before the payment should have even been made along with changing me even though I had asked them to cancel the policy leaving me out of pocket for a few days.And this is the way they treat people who have stayed with Shannon’s since the start….

Knowledgeable people and good to deal with.Sadly on this occasion, they didn't have the right policy for the car I was hoping to insure with them. That doesn't mean that I won't try again for a different car when the occasion arises.

Previously Shannon's was excellent, you could call and get straight onto speaking with a person. It now appears something has changed, after waiting well over 30min each day over the last 3 days to speak to someone with no answers is poor service. I will be looking else where for my insurance in the future.This is very poor service from Shannons and it appears that I am not the only person who is experiencing this poor service.

I have been with Shannons for many years with car collections.In the past service was very good.My current experience is very disappointing a small tail light damage claim is taking months to resolve.Wait times on the phone are now hours not minuits.Very poor service and total lack of comunication.

Phoned Shannon's for an insurance quote was answered by Hannah (Sydney) who was very professional, polite and handled all my questions positively and courteous manner. I have employed people most of my working life an I believe Shannon's have Hythe jackpot with Hannah.Kind regardsFrank LoganChristies Beach SA

Might be a good price but service is terrible. You won’t want to lodge a claim and expect it to be dealt with quickly, if ever. 5 months since lodged and still waiting!
