Good country service. Nice meals. We stop here for a break regularly.

I thought things were good with RACQ, fully insured with agreed value on my car.. always pay my monthly premium on time.. but when the time comes that I get stuck in flash flooding and call for assistance, I find out im not covered under road side assistance, that it's an extra $99 per year, so here I am on the highway with water flooding around me, and the lady wants to take me through a form to add road side, if I knew it was extra I would of paid for it! Had to count on 1 nice person out of the other dozens to drive past me to push me around the corner. When it came to my claim I was told a towey would pick my car up within 2 days.. 4 days later I'm calling to find out what's going on! There was an error somewhere in the towing request and didn't go through, another words someone hadn't done their job properly, so they got it picked up that day, finally. I call them over a week later to find out what's going on, apparently they waiting for the assessing team to take photos and file a report, so the next day they get their sh*t together and call with the result - water sucked into engine, seized, written off.. We discuss pay out and the excess&remaining premium to come out of that, and a get it in a few days.. however a couple days before this written off result, my monthly fee request to my bank goes out, just as they've already got all their money already! So I'm on the ph again asking why! I'm told it'll bounce back and my tow cost will be paid back too.. about 2 weeks later I'm calling again, where's my money?! Oh sorry it was pending to go but was awaiting action to take, well mark it to go asap, no surprises I'm calling back a few days later asking where my tow cost claim back will come, oh sorry well get it to you asap....Excuse the novel, Sharing my experience...Moral is, I pay them always on time, but when it comes to me needing the service I pay for, they are in no hurry in the world, call after call(10-20 min on hold) to try get news and what the hold up is this time, then getting my rightful money back - more waiting/calling!And once paid out wasn't even allowed to de-regester my car plates for rego money I paid and still under my name.Highly un-recommend!

RACQ Warwick is fantastic. The staff are very knowledgeable about products and services, and are always friendly.

Hit a fat pothole 50k before Warwick and the tow truck driver RACV organised was there within the hour - on a Sunday! Such a relief
