I've been using 1st Stop for about 5 years now, I have always found them to be highly a professional company who offer a great service. Of particular importance to me is that they don't just treat you as another number.

All seams lovely until you get your invoice. She even jokes about getting commission if she can get you more in your return. She is getting paid handsomely enough for her services so I found this a little rude and unprofessional. Verbal and written agreements are thrown out and your tax return is not submitted until you agree to hidden charges. This is a money hungry extortionist accountant. You will find better service and honesty elsewhere.If you must use this extortionist then don't trust a single moment and get everything in writing, ask for a printed fee schedule (I was never provided with one) and both sign it. Get an engagement letter stating what services will be charged to meet your requirements. Outline your requirements in that letter. Only then allow work to commence. And don't provide any helpful spreadsheets or pdf's as they aren't appreciated ie fees are still the same no matter how easy you make it for them to enter your information.
