Somerton Surf Life Saving Club
Somerton Beach is a beautiful place to swim, have a picnic or just take a walk. Nice and flat, no big waves great for a safe swim by the surf club good for families with kids or those not confident in the water. Grab coffee or an ice cream at the club. love it.

Lovely food, great views, and perfect for that lazy afternoon by the beach.Lunch menu had plenty of choices and from a budget point of view, it was pretty reasonable, lots of food options without being overwhelmed.Staff were lovely and efficient, the club itself was clean and well presented with lovely views.Would make a great function spot a venue I would definitely recommend.

Not eaten here yet but stopped in for a drink while walking along the beach. Plenty of space upstairs and they have a balcony overlooking the sea, so try to grab a spot there if you get the chance. They also have a kiosk on the ground floor.*update - the food is awesome. Had the nervous sharer for $35 and it was huge, tasty with lots of cheese, sour cream, salsa, guac and jalapenos. The schnitzel night on a Thursday is also a bargain.

Friend had heard about this place so off we went for lunch quite a drive to get there.First stairs or lift. Lift as we are not young but it got stuck eventually got it back down so stairs it was. Not great start. Pleasant room great outlook over somerton beach. Ordering is a bit old style at the bar and pay at same time. We had our food within normal timing so no problem. Pizza not bad but cheese was extremely chewy. Caesar salad with prawns again it was ok but nothing to write home about lacking dressing and anchovies. Pricey for what it was.

Stopped here for our morning coffee, the staff seemed nice enough & the place looked very nice & clean, I ordered a small almond cap with 2 sugars & walked away with a warm cup of milk, was so weak & barely any sugar, my husband’s coffee was the same - we were very disappointed! (Nice cups though)
