Mac Choice

Just a heads up guys, absolutely disappointing service. Yes Trish owned the business 7 years ago but I could always rely on her great customer service and non judgement attitude. I’ve always supported local businesses and hence after 3 purchases of computers , my intention today was to upgrade but after the appalling reception from one of the staff members I found it hard to part with $2200 in the store!No business can continue to operate without customers first!Sadly I will be off to Harvey Norman where they have already exceeded my expectations.

I had my MacBook Pro late 2011 repaired , logic board replaced/recalled.. but when it came back I noticed it was not the same body, trackpad etc. It had a smooth trackpad before and very nice backlit keyboard but it came back with a worn out, poorly lit keyboard and the trackpad was not as smooth as before and worst was the panel underneath does not fit!!! Now the webcam is not working.Because of my busy schedule I did notice this like a whole month after the repair, first was the trackpad then the keyboard then finally after 3 months the bottom plate so i did not even bother arguing with them.Im sorry to report this you guys and this is the only authorized apple repair center in Rockhampton so I guess we have to deal it.But if you can find another repair center or a technician then steer clear from this one. Repair is not a pleasant experience. The one star is for the receptionist and another star for the store itself.P.s. I have to wait for almost a month to get it fixed. Its been almost a year since the repair.

Great service, I have purchased over the years 2 iPads and an Apple Mac. Very happy with friendly staff and their timely manner in responding to requests.

Always super helpful staff able to help out with questons I have. the place to go if you need anything apple in Rockhampton.

Receptionist was personable And went out of her way to understand my requirements. Afraid didn't her name other than she was short with light hair. Eric in repairs knows his stuff. Offered alternatives And pros And cons to solution. I think the words I'm looking for with my experience was Honest

Mac Choice did an excellent of helping me with my liquid damaged laptop a few years ago. I ended up replacing it with an iMac and the technician was able to duel boot it with windows 7 for me at the time.

My elderly parents bought a MacBook Air from Mac Choice, and the support with getting them set up and started has been awesome. While I've only heard about it 2nd hand, it is clear that the girls (Anyone who is under 60 is a 'girl' to my parents) in the shop took extra time to help two people in their 80s to set up their email, all log-ins etc and made the process VERY easy for them. They are now confident Mac users. Mac Choice gets a number ONE rating from our family for customer service and for going the extra mile. Thank YOU!

Phone manner was less than personable, staff members I spoke with on both occasions were less than interested in helping, ended up sending my computer to a repair shop elsewhere simply because of the lack customer service.

Service is good, had a MacBook LCD replaced under a repair scheme and without any fuss they did the replacement and I got the MacBook back in a reasonable time. The screen failed again a little more than a year later but this is Apple's fault not Mac Choice's. The lady at the reception was really polite and easy to communicate with.
