Stayed at Oliver lane, absolutely lovely location! So close to the CBD, making everything in walking distance! The apartment looked exactly like the pictures, and was so comfy to stay at! Had such a lovely time, would definitely stay again!

We booked and paid for a house a month ago and made plans with visitors coming from interstate and overseas. We got messages reminding us to get ready for the upcoming stay etc. A week before the stay, they cancel on us as the house has been rented out on a long lease. Well done guys.

Had a lovely stay. I had my mother, father in law, daughter, fiance and myself stay in a beautiful home that accommodated all of us. Was really happy with our stay and hope to stay with MadeComfy in the future.

We booked for 4 nights and followed the insts to the keybox for 3pm check-in only to find it empty. It was 30c & we'd had an 8 hour drive with two kids so were not happy. Rang customer service to be put on hold for 30 min whilst they investigated. Eventually told previous guest hadn’t returned key & apt hadn’t been cleaned. 2 1/4 hours later, with hot, tired, exhausted & cranky kids we were offered 2 properties – neither feasible. We requested another option & were told we would be refunded for the night & we should find alternative accom. It was nearly 6pm Boxing Day. Thankfully we sourced another option ourselves, although it was a half hour drive away. I'd asked for priority cleaning the next day & were told this would be requested. Gizela assured me she would take responsibility and ensure that this was all resolved for us. I rec'd an email at 2:21pm the next day from her saying to check-in at 5pm. No further info or reason provided. I emailed & rang Gizela trying to find out why there was a further delay. It was 37c & we were outside with kids keen to get in as the complex had a pool, a major reason we’d booked it. Never rec'd a response from Gizela. I spoke to Arvin who assured me we'd get in at 5pm. 5pm, no key again. I rang, more lengthy holds. A lady sent me insts for two diff key box locations. We were on a wild goose chase in the baking heat with 2 kids & no confidence. The next keybox didn’t exist on the fence as pictured/instructed. She then told me that h/keeping was in there at the moment! It was after 6pm. She rang to tell them to let us in & eventually a man appeared & told us he just got insts an hour ago to clean.What a shambles & bunch of lies, quite frankly! We took luggage up to the apt to find he'd just started cleaning so we left to park our car. We followed the incorrect instructions to the apt’s underground parking – another mess that took us a further half hour of frustrations. By this time it was 7pm on a 37c day & all of us felt like crying. This was so, so difficult. Eventually we got up to the apt to find the cleaner gone. He'd sprinkled carpet cleaner powder in half a dozen places but not vacuumed the apt at all. The previous guest’s products were still in the shower, the bathroom & toilets obviously hadn’t been cleaned, the mirrors there and on the wardrobe doors were filthy with marks, dishes in the dishwasher, one of the beds clearly had been slept in but not changed, we were left 2 towels for the 4 of us. I could go on… Who wants unclean carpet, to use a bathroom that hasn’t been cleaned, or worst of all, put their child in a bed that hasn’t been changed?? I again rang MadeComfy and a lady said she would speak to housekeeping and phone me back; of course she didn't. Next day, more emails & phone calls, but by this time I was well & truly over it. We were told housekeeping was too busy to come & clean & we should buy two more towels and claim reimbursement. Also told they would refund the night that we couldn’t check in, a portion of the second day and some of the cleaning fee. A week later; I'm still waiting. I can add that strangely after 5pm on our last night, the cleaner reappeared, not knocking, but just letting himself in with a key whilst we were there. He was obviously lacking in experience, with no training. He did change the single bed. Oddly to do this, he shut himself in the room for about 15min which was disconcerting. Then said he’d clean the bathroom. This consisted of new towels and bath products but zero cleaning. Guessing it had been and will be quite a bit more time before the wet areas see any sort of disinfectant or the floor gets vacuumed and mopped. The apt would have been ok if it was cleaned.Our check-in experience was farcical. Staying in an apt that had not been cleaned was distressing. Getting a different person on the line each time I rang waiting for 30 mins at a time absolutely ruined our holiday. We were all stressed and frustrated. I would never, ever consider booking with MadeComfy again.

Bad. The airbnb place i booked was managed by them/ they were the host. They gave us twice completely wrong instructions to get the keys. At the end, the keys were not in either location they told us but with the cleaner, who showed up 3hrs after we arrived. The Madecomfy agent kep insisting on the phone to look properly for the keys but the reality was nothing from their confirmation was there. After i complained, i only received 25% of the nightly rate. I'll make sure in the future i dont stay at a property managed by them.

Nice place to stay. It ticked all the requirements a family looks in a place to stay. Clean, close to amenities, spacious and with parking. Have a lovely time staying there but as it said there is always scope of improvement, below are few things to improve:1. Key collection point should be somewhere close to the parking. For a person like me travelling from Canberra to Melbourne, it became a little tricky not to have roadside parking next to the key collection point.2. Car parking is very compact. Have to move the car out of the car park in the way load or unload the items. Even for passengers to sit and get down from the car if the car is parked in parking is not possible. May be suitable for hatchbacks.3. Please change the vacuum cleaner, not good enough to clean the carpet.

Apartment was clean, spacious and in a central location. There was no coffee machine despite providing coffee pods and a milk frother. The bathroom fan was also not working. It was difficult to receive a response from the company and some emails were not responded to. Check-in process was easy, but two different instructions were provided for check-out (leave key in apartment, or leave key in location 5 minutes drive from apartment).
