This is a great little cafe serving authentic crepes, great coffee and a range of cakes and pastries. They also do light meals. Lactose free, soy and almond milk available. A little disappointed that they didn't have chai tea. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Fast and friendly service. I will definitely come here again.

Nice seating area, quite busy, prices are what you’d expect but I think quality could be a tad higher to match. Update: back a year or so later and the quality of the food is still average and the Rosti is so not worth it, sorry, eggs weren’t runny and pepper wasn’t listed on food items

Luxe breakfast crepe with Gruyère cheese melted into the crepe, topped with rocket, sautéed mushrooms, prosciutto lashings, Parmesan cheese and truffle oil….. HEAVEN. And for only $22 from memory. Huge portion always leaves us super full. Must try!

I don't like writing negative reviews, but I was really confused with this one. I'm writing this to bring awareness to the owner, as I feel changes need to be made.My friend and I came here yesterday, 14/6/23, for a coffee and lunch. It was 1.35 pm. We wanted to sit inside because it was air conditioned and it was more comfortable than sitting in the heat. When we went to sit down, the wait staff told us we had to sit outside because he was cleaning. I asked him what time they close and he said 3. Umm....It's 1.35, you close at 3 and you're cleaning? Hence, we left. You lost our business and you will lose a lot more if you keep doing that.I'm sorry but that is just wrong. You should not be closing a whole section of the restaurant while you have paying customers eating at your tables.Close the restaurant first and then clean. That would be the right thing to do.

Just had coffee and cake. Was ok, nothing special. Coffee is a little weak for my taste. Cake was good. Caramel muffin.

An old favourite but moved away for the past few years. Back to find out it is still as good as ever! Possibly even better.Highly recommend. Combines a tasty, simple menu with reasonable pricing, comfy seating and great location.Well done to the owners, staff and managers. Would rate this as my No.1 cafe in Queensland.

Always a great time at Rise and Bake!! Very well prepared menu with a great range of food and treats! Coffee is excellent and sourced from local coffee roasters Tattooed sailor! Staff are fantastic, very friendly and proffessional. Even during a very busy time, the coffee and the food was superb! Highly recommend this Cafe! Will be back again!!

Food was nice. But the menu is very misleading price wise.It lists Mozerella Doughnuts >smoked salmon (or bacon) / smashed avocado / poached eggs / hollandaise $22.But the lady at the counter charged $28. When I enquired, she said the salmon was not included in the price as the price is for the Mozerella Doughnuts only, which doesn't make sense since everything else is included. False advertising.

Visited the Cafe/Restuarant about a week ago for a coffee & decided to try the Crepe with Maple & Cream. Wow, this was so amazing & we are now addicted. Yesterday we went for lunch & shared a Ham, Pineapple & Cheese Crepe & yes another Maple & Cream Crepe. The crepes are amazing, service was excellent & as we are in Cairns for 6 weeks, we will be back multiple times-:)
