Fish Haven

They have made many improvements in recent months.After hundreds of $ spent AT A NEARBY STORE on fish , plants, food, chemicals and decorative objects over a year and a bit, we lost all of our fish ($1000 worth given size and colour) after being told to keep adding chemical after chemical because they weren't sure what was wrong with our tank, we essentially poisoned our fish.Devastated, we went to Fish Haven for a look, Kerry was so helpful and asked what we were looking for, hesitantly we told her our story start to finish, she helped us start our tank from new and set up our filter media correctly (the filter we had are not set up correctly from factory) she gave us so much advice, wanted to ensure our water was good before selling fish (for the well-being of the fish and ourselves).

Called up earlier in the week to get advise but when I came in store the guy working here was extremely rude to me for no reason. Just angry because I didn't buy my tank from him. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TRDATED BADLY

Cant leave 0 stars unfortunatelyWorst customer service ever. The guy thinks he’s better than you and talks down to you in a very rude way; a know it all who knows very littleThat’s not the worst part. The worst is the conditions the poor animals are kept in. Ask absolutely anyone who’s been in either the aquarium or reptile hobby for years, and they will all say the same thing: how has this place not been shut down yet? The reputation fish haven has of how it doesn’t look after livestock is well known.Don’t buy from them. The sooner this place goes busy, the better for all animals.

After explaining to the owner what we were hoping to do with our backyard pond I was totally shocked and taken aback by his arrogant bullying response. A simple explanation would have sufficed. I left feeling abused and certainly wouldn’t recommend his business.

I repeat do not buy any snake from here bought one about 4 years ago for it to die not even a week after owning it yes all correct set up like a snake should have rang a few places and they said a genetic problem when approached the owner to confront him he rang the police cause he cant deal with people haveing problems with animals from him have heard from numerous shops now that their shop and animals actaully have a disease would not recomand for anyone

It had been a year or so since I had been to this shop but have always loved it. I recently came here after exploring some other fish shops in the area but was deeply dissapointed and didn't have a good experience at them. However, the lovely lady at Fish Haven here was excellent. Right from the get go as we entered she greeted us spoke to us made us feel welcome. She also made sure we were aware of the back room and let us know shes here if we needed help. I had many questions about some plants which she fully answered and helped me in many ways and helped fix my confusion on it all. I will be returning in a hurry to this shop as I enjoyed it that much. This has now become my go to fish shop I'd recommend to anyone.

We called in today to purchase some hermit crabs for my son. Given that this was our first visit to Fish Haven, my son was in complete awe! The amount and variety of stock was unbelieve-my son could have spent hours there. Kerry, was welcoming and attentive from the moment we entered. She answered my little boy’s many questions and helped him to choose his hermit crabs, in a child friendly way. Before we took the new pets home, she provided us with fact sheets and shared her knowledge. We will definitely return whenever we need supplies for our growing number of pets! Thank you so much Kerry!

Went in to look at fish for my new pond but didn't get any as they were much dearer than the other shops we'd looked at. Asked the older man for advice as my pond water is tea coloured. His advise was you're going to regret doing that"

Fantastic customer service! Very huge range of aquatic and reptile products! I love the transformation they've done to the place! This clearly shows how the shop is considered home" for Clive
