Custom Edge Homes

We designed two high end townhouses for the Bayside area. We tendered our project to 3 builders. We selected Custom Edge Homes after meeting with Peter and Chris and receiving their proposal. Firstly, they are friendly and are guys we could work with - which is important given its a 10-12 month process. Secondly, their proposal was all inclusive and we felt it did not leave a margin for significant variation. They did not quote to win the job solely on price and then add to the price through variations.Throughout the build, Chris and Peter were professional, diligent and trustworthy. While like any build, we had small issues come up, the difference is that we were able to sit down and resolve them rationally and easily. In the end, they delivered a high end/quality home. We currently live in one of the townhouses and have sold the other townhouse.My wife and I would highly recommend Custom Edge Homes.

This builder gave me a lot of grief and stress through out the project. They are difficult to work with.They were poor in customer service and in many aspect of the build ( the house was behind schedule etc ).I will not recommend engaging this builder to build your house.

Peter and Chris built two townhouses for us. They are professional and good to work with, they did not charge a lot of variations except for the changes we've made during the build. We've moved into one of the townhouses and loving our home more everyday. As expected for any build, there are a number of defects identified after we've moved in, Chris is very responsive to us and often come over to look at the defects himself. Highly recommend Chris to be the site manager for your job.

We will not recommend doing business with this builder. They are difficult to work with. We had many issues with our house, ( invoicing issues, delay to house completion, warranty etc ..),

Peter and Chris are very professional builder. They spend time to work on details project as well as provide appropriate advice to save cost, or which one to be best to choose. Highly recommend everyone to talk to these friendly professional and get the deal done.

Nothing is to much trouble for the team at Custom Edge Homes

My wife and I engaged Custom Edge Homes to construct our own 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom custom designed home in 2018. We found them to be attentive and diligent in establishing a budget and an accurate scope of works inclusive of all our needs after running through a pre engagement value management process.This accuracy was maintained through the build resulting in a home that we love and finished to a standard equalling our expectations. In particular, the custom joinery exceeded our expectations where Peters nephew Shaun carried out the delivery in a collaborative and professional manner. Our experiences with site management were cordial, collaborative and cooperative. Chris and his team handed over a home with everything that was agreed.As always in construction we did have some disagreements, however this is to be expected on custom builds - anyone who enters such a project without this preconception is unrealistic.Overall we are delighted with our new home and pleased by Custom Edge Homes delivery and end product. In terms of value for money and quality of finish we would recommend Custom Edge Homes to deliver Knock Down and rebuild projects similar to that of our own.
