(For context I got my piercings done earlier this year, and held off writing a review until they were healed)I've had different experiences getting my helix done vs my other lobe piercings:The helix piercing was a good experience - the piercer there helped me through the process, room looked clean, then she walked me out.For my lobe piercings, I felt like I was rushed through - the medical bed you lie down had gungy and gross looking spots on it; the piercer came across as a bit stiff, and then when they were done they just left the room for me to awkwardly go to the front desk alone. It all felt a bit amateurish :(Speaking of which, Essential Beauty still uses stud guns for ear piercing - which is highly frowned upon by many other professional piercing places / communities (guns rip the ear and can never be truly sterilised vs cleanly cutting a hole with a sterile piercing needle). I had to ask to get mine done with a needle, otherwise they would've defaulted to the gun.Honestly after these experiences, I'd choose a more dedicated parlour towards piercing rather than a general beauty chain such as Essential Beauty.

Brilliant service, was very reassuring and patient with my daughter and helpful and informative with aftercare for our piercings.Book ahead of time!

I've gotten all my piercings from essential beauty! They are very professional and hygienic. Some staff tend to treat me different because I am 17 and they tend to rush the process. But they have always been kind and done the correct job. I will always come back here

I have been seeing Maryanne for many years now whether it be eyebrow wax and tint, underarm wax or ear piercings, I have always been very happy with what she has done for me. She also provides important information especially with when i have had piercing done.
