Well worth a visit. It is so well preserved with so much history from the Buderim area. Each room is very well set up, clean and tidy and a credit to the members of the Historical Society. Well done. The gardens are well cared for too. It is certainly a great place to take younger people to show them how life was 100 years or so ago. Great value!

Interesting property detailing the early settler's living conditions when they first arrived in Buderim. There are lots of artifacts from the period and the house is arranged in a way that would be similar to the period. Its not too big a property and its got some tight spaces to navigate so its not really suitable for wheelchairs.

Wow!!! This is a historic little ripper! We’ve all visited the odd pioneer home back in the day during primary school excursions BUT this incredibly protected homestead is like nothing I’ve seen before. It’s immaculately well preserved, and full (I mean full) of original artefacts, objects, furnishings, clothes, shoes, tools, etc. You step thru the door and immerse yourself in a time long past … it feels as though the family has only momentarily stepped out to mind the livestock. The member of the historic society spent time telling fascinating stories of the family - even a rather unfortunate one involving the sugar boiler. You’ll garner a new found respect for just how bloody tough people and life would have been forging a new life after arriving in Australia from England. It’s a historic gem that won’t disappoint … and absolutely everyone should visit it to understand our history.

These volunteers are so friendly and committed. We loved the old house but it was impossible to find by the gps. It didn't recognise the new street name.

Just Amazing. For anyone who has an understanding and appreciation for Australian early settlers history this curation put together by the people and settler families of buderim is unique.Theres no kitchness of sovereign hill ballarat or Trappings of wealth of Ripponlea Elsternwick this is full of the stories of the local pioneers. The lady guiding us was one of the Guy family so full of relevant information and stories and many of the exhibits feature her family and part of her childhood memories.Vise,Wise,Guy,Burnett All Prominant Street names in Buderim come to life after to visiting this exhibit. There are many early photos and references to the local indigenous people also. Its amazing.Well done buderim.
