This is a great company for a bike tour of Tasmania. They do both guided tours and self guided tours. We did a self guided tour from Launceston down towards Hobart (350KM). Manfred arranged all the accommodation and luggage transfers and supplied excellent bikes.His instructions are clear and very easy to follow. The scenery is wonderful.What a great ride.

A group of (11) frustrated cyclists as a result of Covid-19 border closures preventing us from touring overseas in 2020 approached Green Island Tours regards setting up a custom cycle tour in Tasmania in the later months of 2020.Manfred (who is the face, finance manager, driver, guide and overall Mr Fixit) assisted us to develop a 12night/13day tour starting in Launceston and finishing in Hobart.A Covid-19 outbreak resulted in the tour being aborted in November but Manfred was very efficient in rescheduling it to run in February 2021 - at no additional cost.Despite some lockdown" scares the group consisting of persons from Western Australia

We have just completed a cycle of the east coast of Tasmania. Manfred the owner of the business had given us meticulous preparation of our daily trips in his personalised tour guide via email .. it was great and well thought through. We had booked one e bike and one pedal bike , but my colleague really found both the hills and the headwinds a huge challenge ( we are both in our 60s ) and so Manfred met us on day 3 and swooped in an e bike. ( for an extra charge , obviously ) It made a huge difference and we really enjoyed the trip.One other thing .. do visit Launceston if you can .. beautifully preserved old Victorian and Art Deco buildings .. and a walk up Cataract gorge to the power station is just a treat!
