Caboolture Historical Village is a beautifully kept museum with so much to offer! be it one of the 30+ stylised and beautifully kept historical huts or the wedding venue attached its always a treat.I would suggest this educational and family friendly park to any of my friends.

An atmospheric mix of old houses and businesses set up as they would have been and buildings housing vehicles and tools of yesteryear. Everything is really clean and in good condition. The fountain and planting are really lovely too. There are two cafes but both were closed when we got there at 1 pm on Sunday and the train wasn't going either, I think we were the only people there as we didn't see a soul for the three hours we were there, except the receptionist who was very nice. I suppose this just happens sometimes as it's staffed by volunteers so just remember to take some snacks and a drink in case. Definitely wear plenty of mosquito spray, I did and still got bitten 4 times. Big thanks to the volunteers, we learnt a lot and will remember it, it was a really good day out.

made my mom really happy to go there! it was so hot on the day we went so we did the tour faster but still enjoyed it. the little café has really cheap option, the jewelers are so nice and the candy shop lady as well. nice morning spent there :) definitely recommend to learn a bit of history.

A Great place to visit, close to city centre of Caboolture. Interesting spend a day or few hours lots to see, for a quick tour of the layout try the train ride. Family passed are available. Get a book of the surrounding buildings called the building of life of the past settlement fill in the missing words of the stories that make this something different. Why people travelled such distances and how lived and worked with some of the first made tools, machinery, with school, printing, transport, hospital and lots more, try and an international phone call from the red phone box of the past, or just get your phone done. Very friendly and helpful staff. Use your book to find hidden objects or hard to find items and tick each one off. Bring a picnic basket, or at the old style lunch shop. Grab a ice cream, drink or sandwich. It's all there. A Great day outing for the whole Family.

One of the best places I’ve been too I needed way more than 90mins coming back for a second visit soon. This time starting in the morning so if I take all day brilliant. Well worth the trip and please take your time there to really enjoy the moment. So much to see and explore it’s like a whole town plus some more.

We paid $15 entrance fee each into the village, and I don't think it was overpriced. A lot of care has been taken to give a real old fashioned feel to the village. Some great interesting houses with stacks of information and background. Made for a couple of enjoyable hours.

A large area full of Australian culture. Plenty of collections of historical significance such as police, farming, school, transport, technology and there is a morgue too. There is a train ride as well. It takes probably a good 3 to 4 hours to appreciate the collections.

The actual historical village is really interesting but the food wait time of 45mins when there not busy is totally discusting. For the wait time I give a minus 2.

I visited the historical village on Monday and they were extremely busy! It is a big shame reading these negative reviews from people considering the lady’s are lovely volunteers who are working their hardest! It seemed to be an unexpected rush and they handled it greatly giving an awesome experience for me and my husband. The Staff at the historical village are the kindest and most helpful ladies you will meet! Keep your head up ladies you work hard !
