Elgas Sunshine Coast

This company has screwed my entire household over. We had paid for a new gas refill in November and then they proceeded to close our account without even telling us. I had a baby who is now 3 months old and hasn't had a proper bath in almost 2 weeks because of their neglect and terrible customer service. Whenever we have tried calling them (in their business hours which isn't even correct on their website) they either didn't answer or we were blatantly ignored. We have had all of our calls forwarded to the Melbourne office twice and the Sydney office once. They will no longer have us as customers and if they don't rectify the issue as my housemate has stated we will be contacting the ombudsmen.

55 minutes? Really?Needed to order a nitrogen cylinder refill. Spent 55 minutes either on hold, queued or explaining what I wanted. Operator said I could order online but didn't know it was only for LPG. Said she knew nothing about industrial gas. Tried to connect me to local depot and that didn't work. Needless to say I'm looking for another supplier.

I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the service and lack of care from Elgas Coolum. We live 5 mins away from the factory and have had to wait a week without hot water (for showers, washing dishes, daily use!!). They didn’t show up on the date promised and have had to wait longer than expected. This has now happened multiple times and It’s not good enough. Do not recommend at all.

Do not use Elgas. Was told by their customer service there would be no extra fees, then they invoiced me for an extra $90 service fee. Use Hotgas or another local company that actually answers the phone within half an hour.

Have been with Elgas Coolum for well over a decade, they are awesome. Delivery is always fast, staff are efficient, polite and nothing is a hassle. Keep up the good work. 10/10

Tried to set up a new connection. Forms submitted and they wanted to chat as it’s a new house asking me to call their standard number. Been on phone for over an hour. No one picks up! Terrible service. Sent a website enquiry but expecting this won’t be returned.UPDATE - they’ve called today. As per other reviews they’ve said they are understaffed like a lot of other places - so have some sympathy. Good they called. Order is in - see how we go.

Absolutely disgusting service and rude, disrespectful staff. I pay the bill for an elderly family member and unfortunately she forgot to give me the bill, next I hear and get a message that they are disconnecting the bottles.Called to request an extension and they say there is nothing they can do and want to disconnect a 95 year olds gas which is also considered a basic human right as per consumer law.Absolutely putrid company that have no morals or care for anyone. All their ‘valued customers’ are purely a number and got forbid you need extra time.Would hate for you to ever come to this point in your life where something like this happens to you and your families basic rights are taken away by someone else!

ZERO STARS. Absolutely useless company. I have been 5 weeks at least trying to get a gas bottle filled up so I can vacate the property and have my bond returned. Promised it would be filled up Saturday 26th after a trip to the branch, because these guys are 'so' busy they don't answer the phones. And now 9 days late not even an email,text or call to explain the delay or a new booking. Unprofessional, disgraceful service. Would never use these guys again or recommend.

10 days ago I place an order for replacement gas. NOTHING.Called the number and on phone for 30 mins and gave up. Worst customer experience.

Was delivered gas the next day which was amazing service. Worker was very friendly and easy to deal with. Plus they have a great deal going on at the moment when you sign up now.
