Neil and the team at Turrell Building recently completed a major internal renovation and external addition to our home just over twelve months ago. From the initial design stages right through to handover the team were professional, prompt and understanding- they turned out a finished product that met our design expectations and fell within our budget. We were particularly impressed with the products and external providers they recommended. Whether it was colour design, windows or kitchen cabinetry, working with these hand-picked professionals gave us peace of mind in the choices we were making. Wow, what a journey it's been! After almost 11 months we're done!Our home looks amazing & we'd like to thank Turrell for the awesome job they've done. We couldn't have asked for any more considering the circumstances & importantly, we were bang on budget!Right throughout there have been external challenges thrown Turrell's way, but each time they found a way to deal with the matter. From Covid, to material shortages, rising prices; it's been relentless.The outcome however is nothing short of remarkable. The quality of the materials, workmanship & attention to detail is second to none. Neil often went over & beyond for us, for which I'm very grateful. They were always happy to answer our calls and deal with each question, concern with professionalism and respect.If you're after a good, honest builder with a dedicated team behind him, you can't go past Turrell! We highly recommend Turrell’s Building Services:We selected Neil Turrell and his team to completely renovate and add a first floor to our semi detached home after Neil took us on a reference trip. After meeting a group of owners and seeing first hand their different builds we immediately new we had chosen our builder. We were not let down.Turrell’s was competitive in there pricing but not to the point of impinging on their commitment to quality. Richie the foreman and his team including Chris and Lauchie, were proud of what they were doing and shared openly the approach that they were taking so we were across the build at all times. Communication was open, friendly and easy across the project. Any issues were put on the table and worked through and resolved as a team with any implications made clear to us. Richie reported through to Troy, the construction manager, who purchased all materials, oversaw the build and managed the contract. Troy was the glue that’s ensured the success of the project. The trades that The Turrell Team used had In almost all cases worked with them for many years and were proven and represented Richie’s high Standards and expectations from brickies through roofers, plumbers, electricians, tilers, floorers, gyprockers, landscapers, joiners, window and door makers and painters. Not one trade left the property without Richie’s inspection and any issues no matter how small were fixed immediately. None let us down.The Level of quality in the infrastructure through to the finish was beyond our expectations with an attention to detail that was unexpected and the team really cared about what they were doing. Richie and his team worked amazingly well with our architects which made our life easy. The test from my perspective is the completion and the follow up. Turrell’s delivered 3 weeks ahead of the original plan which from what I hear is rarely achieved and this including a group of variations mostly as a result of us expanding the scope as well as COVID was remarkable and a testament to Troy, Richie and the team. The follow up has Also been exceptional. All defects have been resolved immediately and with care and other projects have not stopped them from completing the small things at the end.Finally, we live in an area with close neighbours and care and respect for our neighbours well-being was important to us. Turrell’s were very careful and considerate with them all and we very much appreciated this when we moved back in. I could not recommend Turrell’s more highly and would be happy to share the 8 month journey with anyone that is interested, We absolutely love and are proud of our newly renovated home!

We purchased a brand-new built home from the vendor who contracted Neil and his team at Turrell Building as the builder for the house. We only started to interact with Neil and his team after we moved in to finish some minor things off. Neil and his team have been great to deal with, professional, prompt, courteous and very helpful. Could not speak more highly of Neil and the team at Turrell Building. Right from our early interactions we knew we had our fit - not only for the expertise but the genuine passion they had for building our dream home. We never felt like a ‘project’ but instead felt like partners to bring our dream to reality. The process was collaborative - they had ideas but also helped find ways to include the ‘musts’ or ‘wants’. The costing process had the right level of rigour and at the end of the project we were happy with the accuracy provided and the reasonableness in costing discussions, which during the fluctuations of COVID was no mean feat. What we were most impressed with was their attention to detail and quality finishings. Everyone that comes to our home, always comments on the quality and thoughtfulness in design. We had not built or renovated a home before, and I must say we were initially daunted by the process. Not only are we happy with our outcome but we actually enjoyed the process as well. We completed a much anticipated extension/renovation with Turrell Building Services two yrs ago and couldn't be happier with the results. Having admired and researched Turrell's work along the way, we knew we wanted them to be our preferred builder. Having never coordinated building works on a property before it was important to me that I felt comfortable communicating with our builders and this was definitely the case with Turrell. Their price was competitive and along the way they suggested improvements to the design to ensure we were very happy with the end result. Turrell did our renovation a couple of years ago now and they were outstanding. From our initial meeting with Neil, being inspired by the design team through to the quality of the build itself, we will highly impressed from start to finish. Even post renovation, a couple of minor issues needed fixing, and Chris was amazing. He was punctual, friendly and professional as he oversaw this process.
