No one has contacted me for a pick up of my recall product. Even the manager hasn't contacted me after I've been told he would.

We purchased an Electrolux kitchen appliance package as part of our new home build.The first time we used the pyrolytic clean excessive heat coming through the oven door melted the knobs on the oven. Our warranty claim was submitted 01/07/2022.It took months for Electrolux to send someone to take a look.In December Electrolux decided to refund the oven (no repair or replacement was offered)Paperwork was submitted in December to organise refund and pick up the oven.Electrolux picked up the oven 30/03/2023.During this time there have been many phone calls to Electrolux to chase and follow up the warranty claim. The staff are unhelpful and rude. I have been told by call centre staff the issue is that I am in Tasmania and it is difficult deal with warranty claims in Tasmania. I have also been told they don't like doing refunds because it takes so long (I was told it would take 6 weeks in December)it is now 23/05/2023 and Electrolux have no idea when the refund will be received - Call centre staff have said the bank transfer takes 4-6weeks.It is disappointing these products are made in Australia and are damaging our Australian brand. I had a Smeg in my last home since 2015 without any issues. Ill be going back to Smeg after this lesson.
