A delayed review but thought it important to provide really good feedback about JSR Builders. I had my apartment kitchen renovated last year and the results were amazing. Kudos to David (PM), Jason, Richard and all the really great contractors that they hired to complete the work. Quality is great and no complaints from me a year on.What I really appreciated was that JSR was able to design my kitchen in a way that no other renovation company did and it was truly fit for purpose. They also didn't pressure me in making a decision to commit which I experienced from another company. They are both friendly and professional. Really highly recommend for any reno work.

Good service. Good quality. Timelines slightly behind schedule. Overall satisfied and would work with JSR again.My wife and I had our two bedroom apartment renovated by JSR Builders October-December 2022.Work included kitchen, bathroom, laundry, common area floors and storage in the bedrooms.JSR were effective and efficient during the initial consultation and scoping of works. We had a tight timeline in order to attain strata approval, that JSR were helpful in achieving.We had one project manager for ~2/3 of the project, and another for the final 1/3. Both were professional and diligent at answering or investigating any queries.Communication was mostly proactive and effective. Where there were two minor miscommunications, JSR either rectified the issue themselves, or offered to do so at no extra costProject timelines (12 weeks) were slightly behind estimate (8 weeks). JSR provided an initial estimate of 8 weeks, with the caveat that this assumed no unforeseen issues or delays. We had ~1 week of delays due to an issue with strata, and ~1 week of delay as we requested additional painting. We wonder whether an estimate of 10 (or 12 to be safe) weeks would have been more realistic. This would have helped us plan our alternative accommodation better.We have been very happy with the quality of the construction and finish. There were a few minor items that we brought to the attention of JSR when we moved in, that were resolved within a matter of daysOverall, we are grateful for the work by JSR, are happy with the outcome and would recommend to friends and family(Would have been 4.5 stars, but google only allows full stars)

I used JSR Builders for renovating my apartment in Waverton in 2017 and also have taken a quote in 2023 for another apartment in Waverton.I interacted with Richard and Jason and as part of the discussions and negotiations. I found both of them and the whole organisation very professional and reasonable to interact with.In 2017 I asked JSR to review, assess and give a quote for the renovation I wanted to do. I wanted to renovate and give on rent. I found the quote was resonable, I was able to make changes during renovation, the team ensured all the paper work required for the renovation to be completed such as strata approval etc was done professionally with little involvement from me. JSR ensured there was little disturbance to the neighbours and work was completed without any fuss from neighbours and strata.in 2017, I had kitchen renovated, bathroom renovated, laundry renovated, cupboards built, painting done, garage cleaned etc. Overall it did not cost me a bomb and on the contrary I got away with better return on that spend when I sold immediately after that. Based on the work done by JSR it was better to sell on the appeal and presentation than give on rent. I had all neighbours come and see the work done by JSR and appreciative of the quality of work and finishes.With that experience, I approached JSR again in March 23 do give me a quote for renovation of kitchen, bathroom, false ceiling, air conditioning, painting etc. Again I found the quote reasonable and was planning to commence work. However, in the mean time I received an offer to buy I could not refuse and thus could not use JSR again.Another opportunity for renovation I will definitely go back to JSR for their trust worthiness, timely completion, workmanship and quality of materials they use.All the best to JSR Builders and the team.CLN Murthy

JSR have completed an exceptional renovation, transforming a 30+ year old apartment into an attractive, modern property.Malek was the project manager, handling the renovation whilst my partner and I were living interstate. Malek adhered to all of our design expectations, whilst also making executive decisions on our behalf where required. Both Malek and Jason were extremely accomodating in providing open and honest communication. It was also a pleasure to meet some of the tradesmen who contributed to the job. In our opinion, JSR exceed their competition in reliability, popularity, man-power and skills. Their service cost was also highly appropriate considering their timely and high quality results. We plan to use JSR again for any future renovations, and highly recommend them to others (in fact, few of our surrounding neighbours have already hired them).

My husband and I were so impressed with JSR Builders. Every step of the way from planning to building was done professionally. We truly felt Jason and his incredible staff wanted the best result for our family and went above and beyond to help create our dream home. They were so amazing at helping us choose finishes, sourcing materials and organizing the major decisions that we really had no idea about. Jason is a perfectionist especially with finishes and proved to us no matter how big or small the job he will always have it finished to an amazing standard. I would highly recommend JSR builders.

I have recently renovated my apartment with JSR Builders and what a great experience.It was a complete renovation which involved structural changes, new kitchen design and installation, new bathroom design and installation, timber flooring, new doors etc.The transformation is amazing. I can hardly recognise my old apartment, which is now open and bright with so many modern touches.From the very beginning Jason and James assisted me with the design to maximise the use of space.Dealing with Richard to select my appliances and all the materials was an extremely smooth experience and his availability and responsiveness was impeccable.George's approach of sorting everything out was beyond expectations. His friendly and the 'can do' attitude was refreshing, giving me the reassurance that I was in good hands.Sam was the project manager who made the project a reality, and I could not thank him enough for his absolute dedication, professionalism, his calm, his friendly approach in every situation and for the fact that I could always trust and count on him.The final result that Sam achieved is of a high standard.He would call me to clarify every detail, he would advise me on new ideas and he would deal with body corporate and neighbours to ensure a minimum disruption to all residents. I was basically worry free.My project was completed on time, to a high standard.The synergy between Sam, George and Richard was undoubtedly perfect and professional.Thank you guys, I couldn't be happier with the work you've done for me.

We recently renovated our 2 bedroom unit in Northbridge using JSR builders. As first time renovators we were pretty nervous about the whole process but JSR made it so easy and effortless. Their punctuality, professionalism and communication was amazing. Our renovations ran exactly to the timeline that we set out and we were always updated on progress and if any issues came up they were quick to provide solutions. We couldn’t have asked for a better project manger - Robbie became like a friend to us over the 3 months of working together. His communication was impeccable and his knowledge and love for his job was very comforting.We have since sold our unit making a great profit. We used JSR Builders for the renovation of 2 bathrooms in our apartment. In short, our experience with JSR was an on-time and responsive company. They kept in regular communication with us during the process and ensured that in person meetings were arranged for key decisions. We were happy with the quality of the work performed and the end product. There were a few minor issues to be rectified, which they were responsive to and did their best to satisfy our concerns. We'd recommend JSR Builders to anyone planning bathroom renovations in the future.
