Very clean and is perfect for a couple of days stay bed t.v bathroom all you need

DO NOT STAY HERE! They should call this place the Soil Stained Sheets Inn, or the Roach Ritz. I was especially disappointed by the blood spatter stains on the tiles in the bathroom. I had to take photos just so people believe me when I talk about this nightmare of a place.

Happy friendly wellgroomed helpful cheerful staff, perfect room, layout is perfect, convienent walk to other stores, 5/5 for sure!

Stayed in a double room and it was comfortable. Pretty easy to find and located near public transport to everywhere.

Goodlet lodge is a very small hotel in Surry hills, about a 5 minute walk from Sydney central station, it's not a noisy place considering it's proximity to the centre of the CBD. The rooms are a little cramped but sufficient for a couple and despite having clientele that have been placed there by housing NSW as temporary accommodations, I had a very pleasant stay and didn't see or hear any unruly or disturbing behavior by anyone. The manger and cleaner were the only 2 staff I encountered and both were brief and to the point yet curtious and helpful if you needed anything. I didn't want or inquire about meals or other services so can't comment. It's not a palace but it's comfortable, what you would expect for the price!

One of the pilliows and down the side of the bed smelled heavily of gaseous feces. The rest of the bedding was just stale body odour. Im still not sure whether they were insulting me on purpose. That stench was horendous. I had to sleep in my car. I just cant imagine anyone expecting anyone to use that feces pillow. Aircons don't work either. Not that I could stay there anyway. I just hope I didn't catch conjunctivitis from being in there. Just appalled.

Very clean with quiet clientele. Quality mattress & they change the linnen once a week. No air-conditioning but a large overhead fan which does a good job. An issue for me is that there's no cooking facilities not even a microwave.

All I can say about this place is don't stay here!! Bed is hard, room tiny, bedding yucky, bright lights come in through the windows all night, and the noise. OH MY GOOD you will not sleep a minute in here. They will not refund a cent when you realize how bad the place actually is. Also beware parking your car in the neighborhood with anything of any value... Steer away from this place it's a shocker!
