Fantastic tutoring centre in Springvale which I send my kids to do english tutoring, maths tutoring, and science tutoring. SAC Tutoring has a selective program which my son when he was in Year 5 attended. Now he is attending Melbourne High School after going to SAC Tutoring selective entry lessons. My daughter is currently also doing her selective entry test for Mac Robertson Girls' High School, which I have complete confidence in SAC's own created material which they have developed for decades. Really happy with how convenient they have a private tutoring in Springvale near me.

Don’t be fooled by the high ratings, as previously mentioned in another review they do simple bribes to get out good reviews from the students… if I could give this institute a 0 I would. It seems very obvious their values aren’t what is expected from a tutoring institute. My little sister has been to this institute for a few weeks and from what I’ve heard, this place is just ridiculous. Her first lesson is given by a young gentlemen who my sister believes is a uni student. Fair enough, hiring uni students as you’d expect them to have no trouble teaching young high school level subjects. But this person was very unsure of his teaching skills and in turn teaches my sister the wrong thing where she only finds out after returning back to normal schooling. What’s the point of going tutoring if your being taught the wrong thing? You’d think they’d at least understand the topics they’re going to be teaching their students beforehand .. secondly she goes to classes on time to only find out her class was cancelled without letting her know.. they then proceed to offer her to participate in class lessons. As a condition to receive their booklet, it was needed for a term deposit. This is what my sister had done. We had paid for 1 on 1 private lessons which is quite expensive on its own being close to 100$ per lesson. The fact they’d offer her to participate in a CLASS lesson following an inconvenience they had caused was very unprofessional. After this we had decided this place was just not the right place for gaining academic support. I had called the institute on behalf of my sister and was greeted by a very rude girl on the phone. I was not able to grab her name but it was clear admin was not for her. I had explained that we did not want any further lessons from this place and asked for a refund. She reluctantly told us they could not refund us as we were given the booklet. Which itself sounded like a very silly rule for not being able to get a refund. Even with further explanation she continued to argue back that because of the booklet nothing could be done and negotiated… I ended the call as it seemed like the conversation wasn’t going anywhere. Got another call 5 minutes later from a nice lady (didn’t catch her name) and at this point was the best service we got at this institute. She was compassionate about our reasonings and compromised a discounted refund which was absolutely fine with us. Unfortunately I did have to chase up the refund a couple of times because it seemed like they kept leaving it to the side and forgetting about it… I hope those that are thinking to come to this place read this review despite it being so long and realise it’s literally a scam

I've been to few tutors, but none of them offer the same student-focused experience or exam focused style teaching that SAC offers. The tutors do not simply lecture or give questions, but give weekly insight into how VCAA's exams should be handled. Not only have my grades improved upon joining SAC, but my passion and motivation in what I do has since also improved with the genuine care and guidance of their teachers.

It's hard to find a decent tuition centre that provides quality education and genuine care for children. I'm so glad I found SAC Tutoring in Term 4 of 2022.Both my kids, Alana (Year 5) and Pietro (Year 8) look forward to attending their English and Maths tutoring classes every week. At the time of this review, it's currently school holidays but my kids are always asking me, When is tutoring going to start again?"To all the parents out there looking for a tutor for their kids

I've been going there for the last couple of years and it has helped me so much, especially during Covid when online classes made it hard to focus, my tutors here made class more engaging and actually bothered to check in on how we were doing

My children love coming here for tutoring after school and on the weekends. They attend 3 days a week and get all the help they need to catch up on homework and learn ahead. Really glad that I made the switch from another tutoring place since last year. The parents (friends that I've made since having enrolled my children in SAC) and I have no issues for over 5 school terms now and we want to show our support for SAC by writing this review. All of our children's academic results from school are excellent, to say the least!

I really enjoy coming to SAC tutoring for Maths and English in Springvale. I was given really helpful tips about my writing and what I should do to improve. They really helped me through structuring my essays and helping me plan in advance. The teachers are really friendly and the environment in the classroom is really cheerful. I would definitely recommend coming to SAC tutoring.

Great little tutoring near me in Springvale. My son goes here for english tutoring, maths tutoring, and science tutoring. I have enrolled him with selective entry tutoring and he has been enjoying it. The staff are always friendly and try their hardest to help. Happy with SAC Tutoring's services.

WARNING!!!If you’re looking towards your children and their education being treated with care and respect and you truly value your child’s tuition and time then DO NOT, I REPEAT.. DO NOT sign up with SAC.This place is run by incompetent, rude and self important administrator(s) namely Vanessa/Vi (she does not speak English well by the way). I should have known better as the ratings and reviews on this site is misleading and now I realised they bribed students to leave 5 star reviews because I can not believe for a second anyone will have a positive experience dealing with such incompetence.Initially when I was looking around for private tutors I tried to call them incessantly for weeks but the call just redirected me and then left to ring out. In one day, on the 4th occasion of ringing out I decided I’d send them a text message. They replied and via an incoherent/poorly written text reply too. That in itself should have been a big giveaway that these people are lacking in proficiency and professionalism. I ignored these warning signs seeing I wanted to get my children’s tuition sorted out ASAP especially after 2 years of lockdown and remote learning. I arranged for my 2 daughters in for private 1 on 1 lessons. It is with so much regret I sign them up with SAC knowing now it is run by MONKEYS!When I asked why they didn’t pick up their calls EVER however many times I tried, they lied saying they never received my calls but after my daughters started here I found out why. Apparently Vanessa and other admins can be overheard in other rooms while they ever so loudly gossip and giggle. Once my daughter caught Vanessa encouraging her colleague not to answer a parent’s call while she was in the middle of another gossip session. It really explains all those unanswered calls. So if you’re an existing parent of a student here and you’re wondering why they never answer calls, you can bet they are too busy indulging in gossip to care less about you or your kids.On a particularly very upsetting occasion my daughter called me half an hour into her session to tell me there was no one there to tutor her but she was kept reassured by admin someone will be with her by the 5th 10th 20th minutes. At 7.40 pm sitting alone in an empty and dark room and now 40 minutes in my daughter calls again and still no one was there so I’m furious I tried to contact admin to find out what was going on. They blatantly and cowardly refused to pick up the call or neither receive the call passed over from my daughter’s phone. Furious, I left work to quickly pick up my daughter.I received a text later the NEXT day (instead of a call) with not so much an apology but a request I be inconvenienced to a make up lesson on days that I can’t meet.Throughout the term that my 2 daughters were enrolled here there had been several occasions where we just get notified of cancellations 15 minutes before class. We didn’t make a fuss of it however we felt it was poor of them to leave it to such late notices. In another outrageously pathetic incident, they cancelled on us stating our usual tutor wasn’t available but then we’re told 10 minutes just before our regular class was to start that they made a mistake so our schedule was to resume as usual. The truth revealed by one of their tutors there was that admin/Vanessa suspended our schedule so another child wanting to have a ‘trial’ session could be squeezed into our time slot and so we instead needed to be inconvenienced. The trial child ended up cancelling so we then became her convenience to resume schedule. My daughters have told me how Vanessa rudely and abruptly scolds the tutors right in the midst of their sessions. I wonder in what world does she live in that she couldn’t respectfully hold off or speak with delegates in a timely or privately manner. It was always in the midst of my daughters’ sessions.Unfortunately for SAC they have hired a very incompetent team of administrators. Running the place like as if it were the deep jungles. Neither professional, orderly or classy.
