Amart Furniture Mackay

Bought the most expensive lounge suite a few years ago. Within a year it had issues with the mechanism. After a serious stuff around with no actual person to deal with, a repair was organised. Again the mechanism failed, so I looked into it a bit deeper. The quality of the lounge build is poor, and the whole arm of the couch is leaning over, to the point a full cup of water can't be put in the cup holder because it will spill. I have had it repaired again, and now it needs repairing again. Amart are not interested in helping. Automated centres for faulty stuff. A job for the ombudsman now.

Nice store, nice stuff. The company should all go to IKEA for customer service training cos the service is 2nd to none....make that none. Customers waiting at counter to be acknowledged (including me)while staff talking to each other. Will not go back again. This is the 3rd time it's been like this. No wonder the place was empty.

I purchased a MIAMI 4 PIECE OUTDOOR LOUNGE SETTING 22 months ago that is under Warranty. I wanted to wash the back cushions and armrest covers as they were showing signs of mould. When I unzipped the cushions, I found that the Manufacturer had used some type off BIODEGRADABLE Material to cover the internal padding. The material had broken down like a disposable shopping bag into dust and small pieces. I SUPPLIED PHOTOS AS ASKED AND AMART WARRANTY flat out REFUSED to cover any warranty on it, saying it WAS NOT A MANUFACTURING FAULT. I then sent a Video of the problem and they NEVER BOTHERED TO EVEN REPLY.I will be going to CONSUMER AFFAIRS, AMART Furniture, so expect a call.Follow up.Case was resolved satisfactorily by the OFT.

Nice variety of furniture ranging from bedroom, lounge, outdoor furnitures, chairs etc. the prices are very competitive also. I only ever bought a entertainment unit from amart and that turned very good. Planning on buying a bedroom set from here soon.

We bought a classy bookshelf here a week ago, when there was a sale on. Good value all-round.

Always amazing service when we come here, if you're shopping at the right time of year you can get some great prices on good quality furniture.

Just had my new lounge delivered by dumb & dumber. If i knew this was coming in boxes & had to be assembled i would have saved myself $250 & brought them home in my ute as boxes had holes in them from what ever rough treatment they had in the truck.Not happy & won't be buying from amart Mackay again.

Some very nice staff, and we got a real bargain on a couch due to minor damage. Would definitely visit again! Huge range and fairly reasonable prices. They also do Zippay.

Bought a whole house full of furniture three years ago when I left my marriage with none. The prices were very good ranging from the cheap to the expensive. I went middle of the road wanting attractive but designed to last. Three years on and still looks great despite two indoor pets. If I ever have to get more Amart will be my first choice.
