Dr. Daniel Swan was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He spent so much time with us, we never felt unwelcome or rushed. His knowledge and advice saved our pup. We are so grateful. Thank you.

Thank you so much Gemma and the awesome team at AEC for looking after Honey so beautifully. She was initially very nervous and you were so understanding and calmed her down so you could treat her torn dew claw ❤️

Really kind and caring vets. After a horrible experience at a previous emergency vet (not affiliated with this one) it was so reassuring to find this vet. We felt at ease straight away and knew our little man was in the best care. They went above and beyond and the communication throughout was fantastic.

Amazing staff. My cat unfortunately passed away but it was inevitable. I get some comfort from the fact that an amazing vet was there with her when she died. Losing a member of your family is so hard. The comfort they afforded my little girl and my family was amazing. I’m so grateful. We had a number of staff treat her, so unfortunately I can’t remember all their names. But each member spent so much time explaining what was happening and we were told we could contact them at any time. When we did, they were always available. Thank you for making such a terrible time more bearable

5 Stars for excellent service and care! I brought my furbaby Benjamin in last night as he had sustained an injury to his foot, which ended up requiring stitches. I wanted to personally thank Daniel Swan for his care and treatment of Benji, and making me feel reassured and at ease with the situation. Daniel spent time with me and Benji explaining treatment options, and answering any questions I had, he was also very considerate and understanding on my financial situation, and endeavoured to improve this for me as best he could.I will definitely recommend AEC Kedron to others, and if I ever need to visit again, I will be requesting Daniel!Kind RegardsJessica

Jenni was such a good communicator and all the vet nurses were so lovely to support our little girl throughout what was a very difficult week for her. I would have given 5 stars but The vet last night night seemed quite harsh toward her her. I’m guessing it was because of her breed…

Took my dog in for an emergency visit before Christmas, after two sets of x rays and induced vomiting everything looked fine.I called them at 10 because they said they’d call me by 9 about it, was told that they “meant to call me”When I picked him up that night they tried to charge me twice for anaesthetic and my total bill amount ended up being $300 more than what I was quoted over the phone.Called two other emergency vets to see how much a hospital visit like that SHOULD cost and was told amounts about $200 less than what I payed. Now I’m convinced they’d intentionally not called me so they could charge me an overnight fee.Understandable that an emergency vet visit should cost more than a standard vet but after being assured that even though I was paying so much it was “less than my quote amount” and that I should pay it anyway I definitely won’t be bringing my pets here again.

We had both of our dogs there at once. One was attacked by another dog at the dog park and the other broke her leg at home. It incidents happened within 10 mins of eachother so were both rushed there at the same time. Our boy had deep lacerations to his leg, shoulder, neck and chin. Our girl have a very bad break and was in excusiating pain. With both dogs there at once with horrible injuries it was a very traumatic experience. At first we just wanted them seen as quickly as possible. Our girl was rushed out the back and sedated while i boy was seen in another room. After waiting for a bit and trying to calm our boy down we finally heard how our girl was. We were told she had a bad break and that we had 3 options. The 2 options included euthanize or amputation. Neither was an option for us. Shes only a yr and a half and very fit. We were told surgery wasn't an option due to where the break was. Being absolutly distraught and traumatised by the whole ideal we decided not to make a decision on the spot. They finished up with our boy and as we discussed the fees etc we were informed unless the fees were payed we could not take our pups. We had to use vet pay as her fees were just over 2,000. His fees were $380. Her fees covered 2 x-rays (we did not see until the following morning) Anastetic and a temporary cast and a night stay there. After that night it was going to cost $150 for i believe every day after that just for her to be there. As this was defienatly not an option financially for her I knew i had to figure something out. We had to use our rent money to get our boy home that night and get her home the following morning. I frantically spent 2 hours calling around trying to find someone that could help me and someone that could see my girl as I didn't want to bring her home for days with a brocken leg. I finally found a surgon that told me to take her there the following morning. He is an absolute hero and definietly had a huge heart for animals. He was able to perform the surgery they told us wasn't possible to fix her leg and he did it for half the cost they quoted us. He stated the things they did for her should have only costed $800 max. After our experience here we will definietly not be back nor will we refer anybody here. We were unvelievably upset and did not expect an emergancy clinic tell us that if we don't pay up we can't take our animals home. We werent treated very well and it defiantly felt like they cared more about money than about helping animals.I am grateful my dogs were seen and put out of pain but I am discusted at the way they went about things and the dissrespect we were shown considering the cercomstances.

My partner and I took our cat here on a busy Sunday and I could not have asked for better care. My dear boy was tended to promptly in one of their consultation rooms and we were fully informed on what was going to happen. He was taken care of with so much love. Couldn't recommend more.

Very knowledgeable and helpful vet. She was very upfront with everything and definitely felt like the little fella was in good hands, will consider making green cross our regular vet after using the emergency service.
