The Abbey Bed and Breakfast

We have just spent a wonderful few days at ‘The Abbey’. Greg & Jenine are wonderful hosts, we were impressed by this magnificent historic building & the excellent care & attention we received. If you are travelling anywhere in this area we would definitely recommend a stay. It is central to many easily accessible attractions.

Jenine, our host, communicated promptly, leaving good instructions. It is a Lovely Bed and Breakfast accomodation in Narromine. So clean and fresh, and a very comfortable bed, a warm parlour room to sit in and rest with a cup of tea. Jenine had a lovely cooked breakfast ready for us at the appointed time. Great hospitality, thank you.

Lovely old world charm, spacious rooms, nice sitting room. Jenine & Greg, very welcoming and friendly.I liked the opportunity to make own tea & coffee at communal area, though replenishing cups & supplies would have been welcome. Have read great reviews of brekky, but my group was disappointed with cooked offering ie poor quality scrambled eggs, rubbery fried eggs. Fruit and yogurt was good and toast with condiments was also fine.Probably needs a bit more attention to detail ie dirty shower curtain and dusty communal areas.

The Abbey had been highly recommended so we had high expectations which were not disappointed! The magnificent building has been beautifully restored with furnishings to match . Jenine and Greg our wonderful host and did everything to make our 3 days very comfortable. A delicious breakfast was served in a sunlit room each morning!

Best place to stay in Narrormine service only a mother could provide.

Had such a lovely stay! Owners were very helpful. I arrived late and the kids & I never had dinner. The lovely lady offered to go to the shop to get us something to eat but then cooked scrambled eggs & toast for us instead. (Best scrambled eggs I've had!) She also held my 7 week old baby while I ate. Lovely rooms & comfy beds. Also very clean! Just how I like it!! If you're looking for some where to stay in Narromine this is the place to stay!

I stayed at The Abbey Bed and Breakfast recently for just the single night. My trip to Narromine for work was my first and hopefully one of many. I wish I could have stayed longer and really take in the great history of this great building. Jenine really made me feel welcome and at home. The facilities are so well kept and period perfect. Staying at The Abbey gave a wonderful impression of stepping back in time and was unlike the gentrified accommodations I usually encounter. The rates were also very affordable and included an amazingly satisfying full English breakfast. Anytime I’m back in the area this will be the place for me to stay. Thanks Jenine and Greg.

We stayed for a wedding recently and it was hands down the nicest accommodation we've ever stayed in. The building is gorgeous, the room was very comfortable and our hosts were superb; honestly it felt like going to stay with old friends. The price is equitable to what you'd spend on a motel and breakfast, so get your money's worth and stay here if you're passing through!
