Nando's Macquarie Shopping Centre
This place is terrible. Most understaffed and incompetent outlet ever. It's too slow. They completely ruined Nando's for us. We got our 2 x 1/4 chicken order exactly after 55 minutes of wait. The staff wasn't even making an effort in servicing at a faster rate. I noticed they were serving incorrectly several times (serving orders, and people were telling them it's not theirs). Why would a Nando's be this slow and understaffed on a Sunday!

Arrived 40 minutes before closing, they said we couldn't dine inside.Tried paying cash , Nando's doesn't take cash.Was the last person at the restaurant before closing, they forgot my food and were wondering why I was staring at them.Burgers were horrible too.Old man manager is not friendly.

Food was good but staff were very rushed and irritated to serve us. We asked for plates and they told us to get them ourselves from the counter. We asked for sauce for the chips and some water, which were plonked onto the table begrudgingly.

I get why Nando's is a thing. The chicken is well seasoned, and beats Oporto any day. The sweet potato chips dipped in their special sauces is an amazing combination. Fresh slaw, fluffy spiced rice, and toasty pita bread.However, be warned that service times can mess the experience. My chicken and pita came first, then my sides arrived a good 15mins later, then the fries some 5 more minutes after. The staff said 15min wait for food to arrive, and I agreed thinking all orders will arrive in 15minutes, not in tranches.

Only doing 4 stars as the waiter “Tristan” was very good. After 3 tries of getting the meal right & he was very kind towards us & managed the situation very well. Best customer service experience from Tristan.

Sooo delicious! Chicken is so juicy and tender. Cheese garlic pita and garlic bread are also very chewy and nice. Nando’s chicken is the best among another chicken cuisine! Definitely will go again. (Service is not the best though)

Ordered a classic burger for $8.95. Chips are bought separately. Waiting took a while. Food is fresh but the burger was a bit dry. Good options for grilled chicken for any amounts, and spice level can be chosen. Nice ambience, and seating area. But the tables are left unclean until you are seated, and they clean up once you sit.

Basically, I felt like u walked into a restaurant with no staff. No greeting on arrival, mind you, there were only my table and another gentleman in the venue at the time.Sat down after waiting for maybe 30 minutes, asked for menus as none were offered. Had issues trying to adjust order over the app, went up to order, staff were just so down it was like they didn't want to be there.. Background music was abit loud to talk over. The only thing i could say was good was the Salad we had, sweet potato fries were okay but had too much salt. Very sad to have to write this but hopefully it helps improve others visits.

Amazing meal, terrible cleanliness, slow service. We had the whole chicken with one side ($26.25) - the chicken was really well seasoned and flavourful, tender and juicy (including the breast pieces), skin was perfectly charred. Rice was horribly dry and bland.Worst of all was the cleanliness. Cutleries were really dirty (not just one of them, but went through the cutlery holder to find clean ones). Cups were dirty. Service was ok but you could tell they’re understaffed for a weekend as no one was there to seat you (as per the sign to wait to be seated), tables around weren’t cleared for a good 5-10 minutes.

I am amending my initial review, as the service in this place has gone absolutely downhill. They do not even ask for your order anymore. And when you enquire about salt, pepper, or anything that you might want with your meal, their answer now is We don't do salt" WTH?? You are a restaurant! They couldn't care any less for their customers."
