We signed up McGrath Caloundra to manage rental property, but we have been extremely disappointed with the 'service' provided by this agent.In brief, some of the problems we have encountered with McGrath include:a revolving door of property managers; renting to unsuitable tenants, some of whom have done willful damage to property and did not pay rent; failure to pay property rates and other utility invoices (stipulated as part of the rental agreement between owners and agent); an arrogant, condescending and patronising attitude on the part of management, in response to queries and legitimate complaints from the owners.So, we cannot in all good conscience recommend the rentals department at McGrath Caloundra. Find an agent who is more efficient and takes a genuine interest in your investment property.
