Amy has changed my running life! When I decided to attempt my first 50km ultra marathon, I knew I needed help due to unexplained gut issues and food sensitivities. Amy taught me how to fuel my body properly to get through 80km+ training weeks. I was surprised with the results, as I had more energy during that time than I have had during any training block. We practiced race day nutrition and carb loading, something I hadn't done properly for my past 2 marathons.Under Amy's guidance I achieved a 20 min personal best at a 20km trail race, and ran Surf Coast Century 50km with confidence.My recovery has improved significantly, and have been able to return to physical activity quicker than in previous years.Amy truly cares about her clients. She never asked me to do anything I didn't feel comfortable with, and tried to include foods which I like to eat when putting my carb loading plan together.I highly recommend Amy to anyone serious about making improvements to their sporting performance or general health.

“Amy was a pleasure to deal with, really knowledgeable, personable and inspirational. Amy came into our office for a nutrition presentation as part of our team building day. Amy gave us helpful tips and made us think about what a healthy diet really looks like – which we surprisingly got wrong. Amy makes eating healthy easy and I like the fact that she isn’t all about giving everything up as we all like a cheeky treat every now and again. I know some of the staff asked for her details so they can learn more with training for nutrition and we look forward to some recipe ideas. Hopefully we will have Amy back again soon for further insights and yoga!”

Amy provides support for so much more than dietary guidance. I worked with Amy for about 3 months while recovering from hypothalamic amenorrhea. She made sure to come prepared to each meeting, asked thoughtful questions and provided an action plan to execute before the next session.Some of the action plan items she assigned to me included food challenges, mindfulness exercises, reading insightful articles, and completing satiety cue worksheets. During the course of our sessions, I went outside of my comfort zone and challenged food beliefs. While I was working with Amy, I also had my first recovery period!I would recommend Amy to anyone who needs help with recovering from HA, as she is relatable, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about seeing you make progress. Two years ago I had an accident where I broke my leg. Recovery was long and slow. Whilst rebuilding my fitness I attended a “run camp” where Amy was a guest presenter. I was so impressed with her presentation and obvious knowledge that I made an appointment to see her at her rooms.I turned 60 in February this year and decided the mid-life crisis would be a Ferrari or a ridiculously long run. I couldn’t afford the Ferrari so the run it was. I set myself a goal / challenge to complete the Surf Coast 100km Run.Over the last six months Amy and I have tweaked my day to day eating, established a comfortable carb load plan in preparation for my long runs, worked on my strength (yes, she’s a strength coach too!!) and set in place a clear plan for hydration / fuelling during the long runs.So, with the training done and fuelling / hydration plans in place the Surf Coast 100 arrived last weekend (21/09/19). I successfully completed the event in the time I had hoped for and enjoyed every moment of it. Fuelling and hydration went to plan and as a result I got through the event as comfortably as you are ever going to complete a 100km run. I have pulled up really well post event and I’m sure this is because of the plans and advice from Amy.I am now planning my next big challenge and will continue to consult with Amy to safely get through the training and the event.

I started seeing Amy 18 months ago when I was training for the World Cheerleading Championships in Florida. Amy's thorough consultations covered all aspect of my training load and the associated nutritional needs. My personalised meal plan made it easy for me to meet my nutritional requirements for my training as well as feeling I could enjoy a drink or meal with friends and still be completely comp ready. Following Amy's advice meant I was able to get the most out of training and felt in the best place physically and energy level wise for the World Championships. The nutrition knowledge I've gained from my appointments with Amy have been an incredible help. Not just for my sport training, but also for helping me live a happy, healthy, balanced lifestyle. Amy was an amazing support to me. She really took the time to listen and understand my story & my struggles & our sessions were of huge value to me. I felt I achieved some huge milestones with her support & it was great knowing i was accountable to someone each week. She also went above & beyond to support me in referring me to an appropriate specialist who has been helpful also. This area is one that so many females have unspoken issues with and having someone in the medical field with her own experience and passion listen & support me was amazing!! Anyone with HA - please see this woman!!! I'm so lucky to have happened across Amy's social media earlier this year. I only wish I had known about her earlier. After struggling with HA for years due to restrictive eating and over-exercise, Amy gave me the support, clear guidance and accountability that I needed in just 6 weeks! I'm so much healthier and happier. Amy's methods are proven and she has helped so many others like me. I can't recommend her enough.
