Eerie site, can feel the masculine energy that used to rule this place. Wouldn't recommend going into the cave, seems very spiritual and cultural.

Stop and explore, the water tank is impressive and there is much more to see climbing around the rock.

Awesome spot to explore and camp! Highly recommend a trip out there if you're in the Wheatbelt.Beautiful sunset and sunrise, easy walking around and over the rock.Generous sized camp spots, fire pits, water tap, picnic bench and a flushing toilet with toilet paper and hand basin.Make sure to take your rubbish with you :)

Beringbooding Rock has the largest rock water catchment tank in Australia, built in 1937 and holding two and a quarter million gallons.Beringbooding Rock, located on the corners of Beringbooding Rd and Cunderdin Rd 65km north east of Mukinbudin,Sustenance Labour” was used to build the tank at a cost of 10,000 pounds. Beringbooding has an amazing balancing boulder, a huge gnamma hole and some of the Kalamaia Tribes paintings of hands in a cave at the rear of the rock( info from wheatbelt tourism)

A great spot for free camping whilst exploring the Wheatbelt.Spacious camp sites, clean flushing toilet, water and firepits available .BYO firewood as its scarce around the campsite.

Decent walk around the rock. Quite easy if you follow the rock wall. Easily enough with two young kids which took us a bout an hour.Good overnight campsite with toilets tables and fire rings and it was completely deserted. Whereas elabaching rock was fairly packed. It’s only a further 12kms away, so we should have camped here.

Amazing to think this was completed over 2 years by 100 sustenance workers in 1937 with little to no mechanical aid and it's the largest rock water catchment in Australia, holding 2 and a quarter million gallons. It also has picnic tables, toilet, BBQ's and you can also free camp.

What an amazing place. Camping grounds to stay for a while or come for the day and climb the rock, have a picnic. Camp fire pits. Hike the wall around the rock formation and climb to the top for some awesome views.
